he looks at it and gets his hands to try and grab it and as he tries to pull it out a sharp pain went down his spine and built up in the bones of his legs.

he began to gag as water drew into him.. his bones began to crack as his legs began to merge and scales burst out of them his spine cracks and slowly he began to morph until finally becoming a Merman he sighs and faints floating.

"Hmm.... I was almost positive you had to eat the pearl..." She sighed as she grabbed his limp body and pulled him up to the surface. This scene was becoming far too common.

Himheco then stopped humming and broke out singing out of habit. "As the rain goes down into the sea...there will I be...catching each drop that falls toward the sea..Then maybe I'll take you with me...to deep blue sea..where the fish go dance with the stars...so pull them up,pull the bars out and come with me to the sea...." She sang with a beautiful voice,word echoing as she swam through the sea's water still in her spirit form.

Katalina blinked at him. "Yeah. You know, storm glass. When humans break all those coloured bottles on the beach? After a while, all the edges get worn down until they're smooth and then it looks so pretty..." She caught herself and gave a small, apologetic shrug. "Sorry. Anyway, collecting storm glass has been a hobby of mine for a while." She laughed a little at herself. "We all have our inexplicable obsessions, I guess."
