Larai rolled her eyes. "As if. When I say no, I mean no - despite whatever else someone might've told you."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

((They catch her doing high level math or writing haiku with her blocks or something? I don't know... sweatdrop ))

"Well, if I'm stuck following you around now, you'll have to learn to live with me sooner or later." Daemon said with a smug smile.

{Maybe. Or maybe she gets kidnapped and gets caught tricking the creep into seriously injuring himself }

"Let me make this clear. I'm a greedy as hell thief. You're a very loose womanizer. I hate sharing. That's what you're all about if you get what I mean. You have no intention of paying for your actions and neither do I." Larai said, sounding slightly irritated all the while.

"I'll have you know that I did mistakenly have a kid at one point." Daemon said, turning serious as he let go of Larai. "You should know by now that I try to avoid having kids while I'm having fun, but I did take care of her for a while. I know I wasn't the best parent around, but I certainly didn't leave her on the streets." he said turning away as he folded his hands in thought. "Maybe I am a sleazy jackass, but even demons can have a heart and conscious sometimes."

((Sure, seeing as how I've got nothing better. ^^;; ))

Larai couldn't help but feel quite shocked - and obviously guilty for assuming that Daemon never would do much for his responsibilities due to his behavior and overall demeanor. "I..I'm sorry. I..I didn't know." she said, both surprised and guilty.

"I know." Daemon said with an easy shrug. "Just thought you should know before you go any farther in assuming I'm one hundred percent a*****e."

"I'll be sure to assume of you less in the future, then. Still, I'm not interested in a relationship right now - even if it something as casual as ********. That was the point I was trying to make, albeit poorly." Larai said, looking away and feeling quite awkward now.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"We were drunk, it's not like we had much control over that." Daemon said, rather amused that she still seemed to think last night was intentional. "But you really do seem...I don't know, rough around the edges. A lack of emotional venting can do that a person."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"If I vented about every single thing that pissed me off, I'd be an eternally angry and bitter old shrew." Larai half-joked, attempting a small smile as she looked back at Daemon once more. "Again, sorry for being a little bit of a jerk lately."

"Ah, don't worry about it. I think we can all agree that I'm no better after all." Daemon said with a shrug and a small smile.

"Now that's been established that we're both jerks, what now?" Larai asked with a chuckle.

((Okee. So how should we go about having Anise kidnapped?))

"Oi!" Kai called as he returned. "I found us a couple of places, but one's a strangely nice looking basement, and the other belongs to a gang that I scared off, but may or may not come back depending on the size of their balls."

"That depends, which is less conspicuous? Which has more bedrooms? Which is more comfortable?" Larai asked.

((Hell. Yes. It could be like him trying to raise her as his own to finally claim victory against Van and Mala or something. >XD ))

"Well, the not-a-basement one is already fully furnished and has quite a few bedrooms to pick from." Kai said.

"How strong did the gang look? How likely do you think it is that we'll draw attention to ourselves there?" Larai asked before deciding.
