"They looked strong in the 'aw, they think they're big, bad gang members; how cute' sort of way. And the place is pretty hidden away, tucked in a maze of back alleys, so we should be fine." Kai said.

{Good idea. I don't know how to enter him now, though. >.< Shet.}

"Sounds perfect. Lead the way~" Larai said with a grin, motioning for Kai to lead them there.

((*rubs chin in ponderment* Hmm....Maybe he's just come all the way to town after having said brilliant plan? He had seen Anise before after all, so now he's just waiting to find a good opportunity to kidnap her?))

After a fair amount of walking through a Pacman-esque maze of alleyways, Kai eventually stopped at a small building. It looked like someone had taken a garden shed and plopped it down into the tight alleys. "It looks small, but it's actually got an underground space that's way bigger."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Then let's go in. Also, let's search the place and make sure no more lingering gang members are inside." Larai suggested.

{Okay.}

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Hopefully they don't act like cockroaches, always coming out when no one's around." Kai said, leading them inside and searching the floorboards for a bit before pulling open the trap door, revealing a ladder going straight down into a well-furnished basement area with multiple living quarters and other necessities, lit by a series of small, enchanted orbs hanging from the ceiling.

((As for the kidnapping itself, nabbed while the couple was distracted by sex? Or....I don't know, that's all I've got. >>;;

And I have to go take a shower sometime soonish, just fyi.))

"Then we'll set up traps. Also, just to be safe, none of us are allowed to bring guests unless it is proven that they can be trusted."

"You're joking, right? Look at our little group. Do you really think anyone in this room would actually get friendly enough with someone to show them our little secret headquarters. Now I know what you're thinking; 'Daemon, what about your assorted lady friends you'll no doubt want to sleep with?' I'm not that stupid, that's what inns are for."

"I know, I know. I just wanted to make sure you knew better. And you do, so there's nothing to worry about." Larai replied with a grin.

((And now even more procrastination rp time now that I know my mom is on her way back with breakfast. biggrin ))

"I just realized, my belly's going to get in the way of snuggling in a few months." Van said with a slight pout as he held Mala close after his libido had been satisfied for the moment. "It's kind of hard to hold you close like this once my stomach's jutting out a good six inches."

"We'll find a way to make things work, just as we did through both of my pregnancies." Mala muttured softly, kissing Van once more afterwards. Before more could be said, though, a sharp cry could be heard from Anise's room.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"ANISE!!" Van quickly struggled to get up and out of bed, cursing his tail briefly for always getting tangled up with Mala while they had fun as he made his way for Anise's room.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala bolted up with Van once they got untangled to check up on Anise. Once they arrived, an open window and an empty cradle were the most prominent features.

"Oh gods...." Van slumped against the door frame as he stared in stunned silence. "This...this can't be happening...."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"We can't just sit here! We need to go get her! Now!" Mala exclaimed worriedly.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I know, I know....I just...I can't believe it....Why would anyone kidnap our baby? What are they going to do with her?" Van said worriedly, trying not to totally flip out as he slithered downstairs for the door. "But we just heard her scream, they couldn't have gone far...."
