WIth his renewed powers, Rajin was running faster than the fastest drag race car. His body was so hot, with each step he took, the ifrit left a flaming imprint of his foot in the sand. It felt so invigorating to have his powers back. Rajin was practically aflame right now. He was so excited to get back to his lover. Nothing could change his mood or ruin this moment...or so the genie thought. In distance, Rajin heard the sound of gunfire and screaming. What could that be? Gunshots never boded well for anything. Rajin found himself running to the source of the sound, reaching it in no time at all. When found the source, his mood took a completely one 180. He saw in the dim moonlight what going on. His beloved Krynn was being attacked by the ruffians from school, the ones who had kidnapped the both of them on that fateful day.
In the blink of an eye, Rajin rushed in and clobbered the thugs who were shooting at his wife. All that could be seen was a streak of fire that rushed by and the remains of burning fire on the sands. Only when the gunmen were taken care of did Rajin stop. The ifrit paid no mind to anyone else as he stood in front of his wife. Krynn had taken a few hits, grazed by the vile bullets of their enemies.

The lamia should have been grateful for the act of being saved. Instead, it made her feel weaker, incompetent. She felt angry that he felt the need to come running to her rescue. Upset with Rajin, the look of a fighter seemed to crack, and instead of pause to thank her husband, she darted immediately for the chupacabra. Krynn's jaw cracked again, returning her mouth to a tight, angry line. She was fueled by a sort of vengeance to harm Raul, to end him by herself, to prove that she was not to be a caught creature to him or anyone else.

When Krynn darted for the chupacabra instead of thanking him, Rajin was a little peeved. He expected gratitude, instead he got sand. He huffed out a breath of fire before backhanding a thug who was trying to sneak up behind him. "Fine. You punks want some? You got it. You can join the rest of your friends and burn." The ifrit would take out his aggression on the remaining thugs while his wife decided to get her revenge on the chupacabra. Raul barely escaped with his life the first time he took on Krynn. Since then, he had been practicing. He was ready for her. He wouldn't let her wrap her tail around him again. He wait until the last second to leap over the lamia and transform. The entire time, he seemed to remain calm. His hands were in his pockets and he looked as if he feared nothing.

If she held any notion that Rajin's reaction might have upset her, she was doing a very good job of hiding it. The Zmeya spun as the chupacabra escaped her and, while frustrated, she gave a laugh. The creature had been working on himself, waiting for this. If not for the thugs last time, Krynn might have devoured him. In knowing that, it made the snake take on a grin. She held back, waiting for Raul to move and take her on, expecting his quick movements and sharp claws. She remembered both quite well.

The beast was now ready for his foe. In his true form, he was even more agile, and now, he had the power of his eyes. One flash from them, and he could win this fight. But, Raul was one who liked to play with his food. "I must warn you nina. I've gotten much better at fighting your kind since we last met. I know how you work now. This won't be like last time." The chupacabra faced the lamia and stared her down. His red eyes were still their normal red. Raul wasn't ready to use that trick just yet. The chupacabra circled around his foe, waiting for her to strike. He knew that if he went in, she would have the advantage.

Though she had doubt that he had fought another boa, she knew better than to allow her guard to drop. The wide, powerful body she possessed was sure to be a disadvantage anyway. Krynn was careful not to meet the creature's eye, despite it not glowing. The last time was enough for her to guess the truth: Raul's eyes caused her body to become paralyzed. Instead, she watched his torso and legs, her ears thundered with the sound of her heart. She wouldn't be able to bear it if she became some damsel, some helpless creature in distress. Her focus on Raul was intense but cautious. Neither would attack first, it seemed.

The ifrit had long finished his opponents and was now watching the two combatants in front of him. His enemies lie behind him on the ground moaning in pain. Each one suffered nasty scorch marks across their bodies. Rajin had found himself utilizing a him flame manipulation powers to conjure whip-like fire from his hands and burn his foes simply whirling around them and lashing the whip-like flames. This made quick work of them all. Now, the ifrit was focused on the duel between his wife and the spiny chupacabra. Something felt amiss. This didn't feel like just any fight. It needed something to dignify that it was a fight between warriors; a fight to the death. Luckily, Rajin had just the idea for it. The ifrit summoned two mighty flames in each hand and had them encompass both of the fighters. Now it really was deathmatch.

Like any good husband would, Rajin decided to make it official that there was a decent chance she would die. Krynn sighed and moved only slightly in, away from the flames but still at a distance from Raul. The lamia moved her body in a slight sway, still eyeing Raul. She moved forward and backward, he would not be able to tell if she was to strike.. until he really had practiced on boa that had been through basic viper training (and, of course, had basic ability to use it). Krynn was sure to keep him in suspense, still not striking after moments of this.

The sudden ring of fire cast around the two was a bit much for the chupacabra. The flames were barely two feet high. How pathetic Raul thought. He could leap over the with his weakest hop. "I don't have time for this ninos, I have to bounce." The chupacabra quickly turned and leaped into the air. He stopped however when the tiny flames roared to a dangerous height. "Que chingados!!" Raul cursed as he just barely avoided the flames. Sweat was now beginning to roll down his cryptid like head. "What's the meaning of this?" Raul said looking past the settled flames to Rajin. (What the ******** style="color: firebrick"> Rajin glared at the little cryptid. It disgusted him to see an enemy try and flee from a fight. "You will stay and fight like a true warrior, you scum. If not, I will burn you until you are a nice crispy meal for my wife." The ifrit then looked up at his wife. If Krynn looked hard enough, she might see the genie wink at her. Whether she or the chupacabra knew it, this fight leaned in Krynn's favor.

The lamia wasted absolutely no time in taking advantage of the chupacrabra's intention to flee. She struck and spun, squeezing before she even finished coiling around Raul. His claws were still free, which was going to be an issue for Krynn. The lamia just squeezed all the much harder. If it hadn't been for her husband's actions, perhaps the little thing would not have been distracted. Either way, right now the snake was on the winning side.

Before Raul knew it, he was in Krynn's grasp once more. It was not a welcomed feeling to have you ribcage become squeezed like a lemon. The little cryptid could already feel the oxygen in his body departing. He needed to do something fast. Something that would get him out of Krynn's crushing grasp. Then the idea came to him. The chupacabra's eyes lit up and flashed at the lamia. Just a quick glace. Unlike the previous stare he had used before this one only stunned opponents momentarily. It was similar to being blinded by light. This should have bought the chupacabra some time and loosen the lamia's hold on him.

The snake squeezed even more, listening to the pleasing crunch of bone. She was far more confident, forgetting herself for the moment to look into the chupacabra's flashing eyes. Krynn loosened, slithering backward quickly. She rubbed her eyes, stunned by Raul's blasted eyes. Perhaps the wounds she inflicted were painful enough to deter him.. at least she hoped.

With her grip around him loosened, Raul was just able to claw his way out. He left a few nasty gashes on the lamia as he crawled away free. The little cryptid found himself gasping for air, most of which was burning hot because of the flames. "You..won't get away with this." Raul gasped as he clutched his ribs. "My boss...He'll see to it...especially you, ifrit." The chupacabra glared venomously at the genie. He then turned back to his opponent. It hurt too much to move. Was this going to be the end of Raul? Was he to die here? No, there had to be something he could do. The cryptid concentrated, then seemingly disappeared. He had camouflaged himself. He might not have be able to finish the fight, but perhaps he could flee and give himself just enough time.

Once she regained sense, it seemed the creature had disguised itself.. or escaped. Not taking chances, she sighed and closed her eyes. She focused on the sounds around her. She focused on where his voice last was, and followed what movements he seemed to make. She slithered back and forth defensively, on guard. Krynn was starting to feel her wounds. Perhaps it was the blood she was losing.. maybe it was just the new wounds. Her color was being lost some, but she was concentrating to the best of her ability.

The chupacabra was in a very delicate situation. His very life was at stake. The lamia was now searching for him. What could he do? It almost seemed like he was bound to die here. Raul then began to consider the chances of him being able to claw his way of Krynn's stomach once she swallowed him whole. It was true, the cryptid wasn't familiar with her kind as a boa. If he was, he would have known it was not a boa's style to just eat their prey. He would first be crushed to death, then swallowed. Raul did his best to be quiet and look around for something, anything. Fate decided to be kind to him and give him a small pebble. All he had to do, was throw the pebble, distract both the the lamia and ifrit, leap over the fire and escape the sea. They would probably think that he would simply drown, but, Raul had a plan. (assume that he did all that.)
