Pency didn’t know how his dragon could keep going through this hot mess, though the blue was acting like this was an example of his amazingness at work and not two flaps from disaster. He stifled a cry as they dove through more hot ash and felt ashamed as Rekamuth soothed him despite his own pains.

It was not hard to find a target here. Really all Nasath had to do was flame, and he was almost guaranteed to hit something. With a furious bellow he spewed fire, cutting a swath far ahead of himself through the curtain of thread.

Roll: 7 - This is such a mess! Thread is everywhere. The High Altitude Wing is always in the thick of it, and today is no exception. If you are a bronze, brown, or blue 30' or larger you find yourself getting hit by the wildly blown Thread! Even as they flamed down thread, more appeared. Despite the fall being perhaps three quarters done, there was no sight of it letting up yet, and it was impossible to dodge it all forever. The bronze hissed as a slash of it fell over his flank, throwing himself between to freeze it away, even though it left swirling scores across his flesh.

Neither of them were as focused as they should be, between Pency’s tense anxiety and Rekamuth recovering from a series of injuries. The blue was a little less cheerful when his flame missed.

He wouldn’t have it. No risks, no needless danger. Pency practically yanked the blue Between on his own, and while he felt a prickly of guilt at leaving the problem for someone else to handle, his mind was only on himself and his blue at the moment.

1/5 Loteth was flaming well, he wasn't... happy but he was in his element, this was just so RIGHT.... but ARGH the wind... it blew hot ash back into his face and he closed his eyes while Nyssa threw her arm up to protect her face. This was nothing though, they still had the rest of the Fall to get through yet.

He wasn't fast enough to avoid getting hit, it caught him along his side, catching Nyssa in the leg, eating deep into dragonflesh and wherhide boots before he could Between to crack it away. He grunted while Nyssa bit back a scream in the blackness, then they re-emerged, in pain but able to continue, for the moment.
