If I didn't have class during the time of my old community college's Halloween event, I totally would go to it too. But alas, I won't be able to do, due to the timing of the event and my class being at the same time. *sighs* Oh well. There's always next year... hopefully. If my schedule cooperates then.

*chuckles* I just realized that both of my friends' girlfriends are coming up here basically at the same time period from the same state. Pretty amusing really... especially when my friends have very similar personalities. Though the girlfriends are coming up for different reasons. The one is coming up because she got a job opportunity up here, so she's actually moving up here for that. The other is probably coming up because it's my friend's birthday at the end of this month. 3nodding *shrugs*

I've got "Time Warp" stuck in my head now after watching the teaser clip of Glee's episode where they do the song. xd

Last night when I was walking to my car I was looking up at the sky; the moon and a couple stars were out. It was really weird seeing barely any stars, despite it being perfectly clear. And my school's pretty far out, so there isn't much city lights to mess up the view. But still... it was weird looking up at a basically starless sky.
Then it got me thinking. This is probably a view most people are familiar with. They are familiar with seeing the moon and maybe a couple stars... but they never get the starscape view that I get here at home. It just reinforced the whole fact that most people don't realize you can see the galaxy with your own two eyes without needing some fancy telescope (or any telescope at that) or having to travel out to space. Certainly makes me thankful for being able to see more stars here at home than what I could see at school.

I should probably work on my homework, but since I'll be leaving soon, I don't want to start something only to stop in the middle of it. *sighs*
I just want to get this bloody advising appointment over with already.

And I wish that paying for college wasn't so bloody much either. Mom's wanting me to ask my advisor about grants and what not today. *sighs* I miss the days of community college where all I had to worry about was going to class and getting good grades, and not having to worry about whether I'll be able to financially afford it or not.

But at least I'm slowly working on getting my Bachelors. So that's something... especially when most of my family never went to college or for some, dropped out of high school.

I hate when I get this anxious feeling. Every time I start working or thinking about anything related to the financial aspect of me going to college ((i.e. applying for scholarships... or like now, thinking about how to ask about grants)), I get this stressed out, anxious feeling. I don't like it. Don't like it all.

Too bad stores like Buy More or The Work Bench don't exist in real life. It would be so easy getting a job if they existed, especially with Buy More. *laughs*

I'm back from my advising appointment. As expected, it didn't take that long to discuss everything, since I'm pretty much on board with all that I need to take care of to fulfill my degree requirements. Also, asked about the grant stuff, for my Mom, and got an idea about what I need to do for that. So, at some point, with my parents assistance, we can take care of doing all that - since I can't do it all on my own, due to me being a dependent and what not. *laughs* So yeah.
Now to work on homework!
