So the Oktoberfest event wasn't what I expected it to be. There was barely anything going on when I went there. And it wasn't because of the timing, I think. I think it just was the turnout for the event ((probably due to lack of advertisement? The only way I knew about it was by the one sign)). Anyway, there was two tables that had people sitting at them; one had people painting small pumpkins, the other was members of the Coloring Club who were coloring some Oktoberfest-themed coloring pages. My classmate-friend Melissa was there, so I joined their table and colored two pictures.
Now my Mom is happy because I gave her some colored pictures. sweatdrop She keeps saying how she misses how I use to draw her pictures and what not when I was kid. Well, now she's got two that she put on the fridge. biggrin And at least these are more accurate with the season than the one that my second-cousin colored for my Mom (which was Christmas themed). sweatdrop

I think I already have my next two birthday party themes picked out. xd POTC: On Stranger Tides comes out in Summer 2011 ((as of now, they're saying around May))... so I'll probably go with a pirate theme for my next birthday party, if there isn't any other theme that decides to present itself in the mean time. And then for 2012, the sequel to Star Trek (2009) is coming out in the summer (sometime in June)... so I'll be going with a Star Trek theme for that party (once again, if no other theme stands out in the meantime). biggrin
