The sharp crack of a dragon appearing from between, spouting flame directly at them, has Invenirth squealing as his wings pump to get them out of the way. It's an odd maneuver, but one that has them from being roasted--thankfully.

This is bad. Very bad. One of your wingmates appears out of Between flaming, but instead of catching a nearby target, they catch you instead. Your dragon roars in pain, blinking hastily Between! Just how bad is the damage? Roll a D4!

3. If you're a green, or blue, you hastily weave out of the way. Your wingtips are a little singed, but you make it out without issue! Thank goodness you're so agile!

The greens, and blues don't seem to be having trouble sweeping up thread. Yeehaw! This isn't so bad! [+3 Agility]

They wink between to avoid missing a clump threatening to rain down on them. Yet as they reappear, watching the clump fall, Invenirth couldn't help but be mildly disappointed, and guilty.

As you're flaming down some Thread, a gust of wind suddenly pushes the remaining cloud back at you and your dragon. You've no choice but to blink Between to avoid it, and appear higher up, missing the clump. The rest of the thread falls down towards the lower altitude. [+1 Between Accuracy]

T'mor could craft just the right words for something like that, fortunately. Poor G'ar and Marasemeth had just come back just to be flamed by a Wingmate, and the man urged Phylideth to reach out for him. You are stronger than Thread - and stronger than the flames that would destroy it! he assured, certain it hurt but Phylideth was not a gentle and coddling dragon and even though the words were T'mor's, they were laced with the brown's stubbornness. Chin up and be tough!

While Phylideth kept an eye on the approaching clump, T'mor found them a safe place above to jump to. It went off without any problem.

Phylideth should have been too large to be blown about, but the higher they went the more it seemed the winds raged freely. While there should have been no living Thread in that cloud of ash they were blown into, T'mor took it upon himself to jump them somewhere else, just in case.

While Phylideth was not a quick or nimble dragon, he did command attention when he told their Wingmate to jump, flaming down at least part of their target after he was certain they were going to be fine.

He could have done better, hmph.
