Verily sighed as her shot missed again. Apparently the first year just was not going to get hit. Shrugging, Ver spun around and drifted up, watching the course of the game for a bit before shooting after a bludger. She swung back, and aimed, narrowing silver eyes on her target, Chance.

What he didn't see, however, was that a bludger spun around from the side and nailed him in his left shoulder. The teen hissed at the pain, though he had to give props to the beater who hit him. Granted, he was just a sitting duck waiting to be bludgeoned...

Verily growled as her shot missed and spun away. She needed to cool down. Her irrational anger was getting the better of her shots. quietly she counted to ten before turning and looking for a bludger. She easily spotted one and darted to it, swinging and aiming at her captain.

Be careful making wishes in the dark... Can't be sure when they've hit their mark...

In the end everything collides... My childhood spat back out the monster that you see...Chance sat on his broom, quietly watching the others. All was well, until a Bludger came flying his way. He swerved out of the way and avoided it, but it still got pretty close to him. The boy looked across the field, his old icy glare forming behind his brown irises. Why was Verily intent on knocking him out? There were plenty of other people to aim at, like the Seekers for example. But no. She apparently only wanted him to get hit. Well, two could play at that game. As the girl was hit by her own Bludger, Chance took off down the Pitch. He swung at an incoming Bludger, taking aim at Verily. In the pit of his stomach, he felt bad, but he knew that it had to be done. He would not be pushed around, especially not up here. This was his game, and no one was beating him. Not now. Not ever.

Night circled the pitch, eyes scanning for another bludger to hit. People were getting hit left and right, and surely, the Ravenclaw felt slightly bad for it. In tryouts when any one person can be new, this might be daunting. But Night put faith in the captain and chased down a bludger, swinging at it, aiming at Shina.
{OOC; New rule~! I kinda don't want anyone getting knocked out. So please, beaters, if someone is one life away from a knock out, don't aim at them. Beaters can pray that they don't miss and yolo.

Chase declared. "This ends the Ravenclaw quidditch tryouts." Although he wanted it to keep going, since the players seemed to be quite engrossed in the game. However, time was up, and a team would need to be declared.
"The following persons made the team as Ravenclaw chasers: Alexander Sherwood and Rufus Flinker. Shina Kiremono will remain the Ravenclaw Seeker and Shayna Snow will be the reserve seeker. The beaters will be: Verily McHalen and Night Yamamoto. Chance Carleson will be the reserve beater," Chase took a deep breath after announcing the team. "And that concludes everything."

Oh, my heart is numb Rick walked down to the pitch, levitating a box behind him. His broom was under one arm, and the forms for the team were in his hand. He looked around as he set the box down, and then placed the forms underneath a conjured paperweight. He then looked around the pitch as he assessed it. Getting to work, he conjured targets and set them around the pitch. Finally, the redhead sat back and smiled. There, that was done. Hopefully people would be showing up shortly. After all, they did need players. Especially since he was figuring he was down a beater. Night was gone, and Chance was acting off. Not only that, they needed chasers. And a keeper, for next year.
