"Alright.." Akila stepped away from him, before turning in his direction, "When will I get to see you again?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Markus shook his head. "I don't know." He answered honestly. "But I do know that I will see you soon, whether or not you see me." He flashed her a confident grin. "I have to keep watch on the jerk don't I?" His wings shuffled as he debated. This was the perfect opportunity, with no one around. 'But I don't even know if she likes me....' He thought then decided to hell with it. "Forgive me if I'm being forward." He said softly, then stepped closer and kissed her lightly on the lips. The kiss lasted but a second before he turned and jumped into the sky, racing back his hideout. The tiger that should be....isn't....

`Akila nodded, her 'alright' to his statement, and at his sudden action she froze for a moment? Was she imagining things? Her cheeks flushed lightly, and she might have done something, but just as quickly, he was gone, and she was left staring at his retreating form. A smile spread across her lips as she raised a hand to touch them. "I really hope I'm not dreaming." She finally pulled herself together after maybe 10 minutes, and pulled the cloak on once more, headed into the village. She couldn't stop smiling, now. She hoped it wouldn't give her away.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Markus flew high, letting the wind soothe his ruffled feathers. "I just hope she doesn't slap me for that, next time we meet." He spoke, letting the wind whip his words away as soon as they left his mouth. Despite his worries, he couldn't help but smile. He'd finally worked up the nerve to kiss her. It had taken years, but he'd done it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Now, Akila ignored the questions asked, and danced through the crowd towards the inn, where she went straight to her room. She'd half expected Clorogne to be waiting in her room with a knife for being so late, but was pleasantly surprised with blank silence. Discarding the cloak, she locked her door and shut her windows before dressing in the only nightgown she had left, and laid in bed. Thoughts plagued her mind, but somehow she still managed sleep.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Sounds good.))
When Aleera woke, it was with confusion. She never shared her bed with anyone, at least not in recent times. So why was there someone holding her? She opened her eyes, trying to figure out who it was. When she saw Clorogne's face, she had a moment of panic. Had she slept with him? Then she remembered. No, she hadn't. He'd been too drunk. Hesitantly, she moved slightly, testing if she could get out of his grip now or if she had to wait for him to wake up. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Clorogne's grip had grown slack throughout the night, but he still had his face nuzzled against her neck. He was purely content in his state of sleep.
Akila slept soundly, curled up on her side, and her tail wagged under the sheets.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera sighed as she came to a conclusion. She could probably get out, but chances were she would wake Clorogne. And she didn't feel like dealing with a hung-over man so she simply sighed and relaxed in his grip, closing her eyes again. Thoughts floated through her mind as she drifted, not really asleep but not entirely awake. She would feel it the moment that Clorogne began to stir though. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Clorogne woke slowly, and groaned, pushing his face into whatever it was that he was holding, and opened his eyes. Hair. Who had he slept with? He let go, to sit up and was given the pleasure of a massive headache as the movement must have been too fast. He turned to look down at the girl. Aleera? And he didn't remember!? He groaned again, and help his head.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera was relieved when Clorogne finally moved. She was getting bored. Hearing him groan, she sat up as well. 'Serves you right.' She thought, though what she said was, "Shall I see if I can find something for your headache?" She asked, keeping her voice low. Judging by his groans, he had a massive headache from his drinking last night. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Yes, yes, My dear." He held his head in both hands, and closed his eyes.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera nodded and slid off the bed. She padded from the room, taking care to make as little noise as possible. She disappeared downstairs, talking to the innkeeper. When she returned, it was carrying a mug of a hot herbal tea. Seemingly, the innkeeper had enough hung-over men that he carried a special tea that would teas the headache. "Here. This should help." She said softly, holding out the mug to Clorogne. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Thank you, Aleera." Clorogne took the mug carefully, and sipped at it, afraid if he gulped it wouldn't work. And the last thing he needed was a headache like this to last the whole day. "Where is the sla-...Akila?" You could never tell when someone was eavesdropping, and he didn't want to end the plan before it took action, after all.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera shrugged, unsure. "In her room I believe." It was the most logical place. In Akila's position, she knew she would be grabbing every hour of sleep and peace she could. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Clorogne's eyebrows furrowed. So his servant was getting lazy, huh? He'd have to fix that, but now wasn't the time. "So, I'm sorry I don't remember much of last night. How are the rumors spreading? Have any of the facts changed?"
