"Heh. The day is going quicker than I thought" Damien muttered to himself and headed down to the foyer. He had his usual posse of guards there following him on all sides down to the foyer. He took the spot where he was before and readied himself to hear Big Brother, My Absolute Leader once more.

Valkyrie and Vincent were put on the stage toward the side of the front row again. Again, they were holding hands with white gloves on. They noticed Damien out of the corner of their eye, but couldn't turn to look at them because they were standing at attention.
Jian was already waiting for Damien in the foyer, standing and waiting as Damien came in. As soon as Damien was ready, the children were put on que to sing again.
The children sang once more, and again, Vincent and Valkyrie were barely staying on pitch. After the song was over, the Dean went to the front to say farewell to the Absolute Leader on the 'children's behalf'.

Damien had previously spoken to the dean during the day and was now standing up to make his final speech once the dean was finished. He hoped there were no more pranks happening. He glanced at the twins for a brief moment with his eyes. He didn't turn his head in their direction.

The twins noticed Damien doing the same thing they were doing to him, and took it with surprise. Now they were certain that they felt some sort of connection to Damien, but neither knew what.
The dean finally finished, and waited for Damien to make his final speech.

If you're in troubled waters, call me back. I will send for you." Zil said trying to get the message across as quick as possible in case connection was cut short.

Saiyu's eye twitched as Zil took over the call. There had never been a time in which she had wantted to break someones nose as badly as she did Zil's.
Rubbing her temples the younge woman shook her head, Zil obviously knew what he was doing, even if to her he seemed like the worlds biggest idiot.
Letting out a dry chuckle Saiyu raised her head and looked at Fanny, her stern glair lightening into a soft, careing smile.
"would you be ok with that?".
After a moments aquward silance Zil's comunicator buzzed, cutting through the thick tension that had built since Saiyu's out burst.
"shadow!! are you ok i was worried you never came back that night!!"

"I'm at our apartment. It was a long night. By the way, the weapons manufacturer betrayed us, Zil. Apparently, he was just after my contact list, and he drugged me bad. I only barely escaped because I bought a glass of wine for this guy, and I realized they were spiking everyone I was talking to. Well, the first I asked for it, but not the second. Probably thought they were some of my contacts. Anyway, this morning, I was talking to another contact of mine, and asked him to look over the footage after I left, and I found out the guy I was talking to was some big government buff in disguise and had arrested the guy. But now I got officials going after me because the moron blurted out about my contact list." Shadow finished. "So I'm pretty much stuck at the moment, especially while this drug is still in my system. I didn't get too high of a dose, but it's some strong stuff. I've already taken counters to get rid of the effects, but I'll probably be useless for another day or two."

Dustin had to take a seat. He would let the argumentatives settle things out for themselves. He worried about Shadow though. He knew that if she got caught then she would most likely be sent to one of the notorious interrogation camps that were spread around the empire.
Damien stood in the centre and began delivering a speech thanking the students for coming and stating that he hoped that they learned a lot and got to know more about their government. He also once more brought up the importance of fighting for Diethelm and protecting their beloved country from its enemies. He turned to the Chief General and asked if he had anything to add.

Jian nodded and added a few pretty words about their future and working for the sake of their country, then handed it back over to Damien.
The twins said nothing and continued to wait for the speech to be over. They hoped that they might have one more chance to break from the crowd, but they didn't know if it was possible.

Once Damien had the attention again, he gave a final thank you to the military students and gave a final salute. After that, they were all dismissed. The students would be heading back to the academy. Damien stood there with the other officials until they were gone.

The students started to file out, the last being the twins on the front row. Valkyrie led Vincent off the stage, when suddenly, Vincent stopped when looking at Damien as if spacing out. Valkyrie, who was leading, was stopped when she felt Vincent's grip holding her back, and quickly turned back to her twin. "Vincent? What are you doing?" She whispered to him as she tugged at him lightly. She peered into his mind, to see him caught in Damien's glance. She looked to Damien, then looked back at her brother. "Vincent, snap out of it." She said a little louder, shaking him lightly until he snapped back.
"Huh? Oh, sorry." He said, turning to his sister as she led him off the stage.

Damien saw the twins looking at him, but ignored it to avoid any questions. He then dismissed everyone to go back to work. He began walking along with Jian. "Well that was an interesting day" he commented. A few seconds later he asked "so what punishment did you administer to Dietrich?"

"He'll be put under house arrest for a few days to reflect on what he has done." Jian replied. "I also called for a search for any alcohol, and for it to be removed during that duration. I felt that would be appropriate."
Much to their distaste, the twins were loaded on the buses and sent away back to the academy. As soon as they had gotten there, they were scolded and sent back to their dormitory on restriction. At that point, they began to feel themselves sinking back into hell they just came out of.
"Do you think the Absolute Leader will come through?" Valkyrie asked.
"He's another 'adult'. I doubt it." Vincent grimaced with his face buried in his pillow.
"Say, I know you were thinking about this before, and I have been to. What if the Absolute Leader is 'that' Damien. I mean, he- he does look a lot like us. More so then mother, and..."
"Valkyrie." Vincent cut in.
"Yes." She asked.
"It doesn't matter. It never did. Today only confirmed that." Vincent said, looking towards his sister, sniffling as tears started coming out of his eyes. "We never had a father and we never will. We're just going to end up growing up to work in that building with the rest of those jerks, and no one will care. No one ever cared."
"That's true." Valkyrie replied, also starting to sniffle. She then burst into tears and hugged her brother as they cried together.

"Ah, good. That will teach him. Then again, it is Dietrich..." Damien commented. "I want you to come to my office later. We need to discuss some things that involve those twins" Damien said. He didn't want to mention anything else while others were listening. He then broke away from the Chief General and headed to his own office to finish up some work.

"Alright then." Jian replied, then went back to his own office. After about three hours of sorting through work and tying up loose ends, he went down to Damien's office and knocked on his door. "It's me." He said, knowing Damien was probably wondering who it was.
