Even with his eyes closed, Rune wasn't even turning his head to look at her out of guilt. "You'll have to forgive me for having little experience with pirates, much less this one, as I've been living in a forest my entire life. And unless your magic's back, there's not much either of us can do against chains!" he pointed out, giving his restraints a rattle as he briefly pulled against them.

Ashen let out a bunch of inaudible, angry grunts and grumbles of an unmistakably foul nature before arguing any further against Rune. She hated to admit it, but he was right. They were pretty much <********>. Well, ******** unless... "We make our move once we're freed. As soon as the opprotunity shows itself, as soon as our shackles have been removed." she whispered to him, scooting close and finally looking at him so she knew where he was. She didn't want any possibly nearby pirates to overhear this.

"Right." Rune turned his head in her direction, but for her privacy he still kept his eyes closed. And knowing Ashen she'd probably smack him if she thought he was taking advantage of the situation to be a peeping tom.

"That's assuming she doesn't take us one at a time. Then again, she does have some...unusual tastes." Ashen was not about to elaborate on that. Not that it matters since everyone can make a good guess anyway, but still.

"I somehow assumed she would. She's certainly....eager enough for it." Rune noted. "Either way, all we can do is wait. Whether one or both us goes up there, whoever it is has to try and knock her out or something. She's probably got our things stowed away with her too."

((They're obviously going to wind up in Ophelia's room. For their grand escape, someone tries to knock her out, the other being a distraction is optional. Their things could be locked up with her things, being kept there out of spite or something. Hell, they could even swipe her special sword and/or take her hostage on the way out. XD ))
