This was exactly what she would expect from that one! The Scarlet Green let out a shriek of fury and hatred, ripping into Dezerac with every intent to kill. She shook him hard, as he kicked out, and the kick missed her...
and struck Cobalt Bronze. He gave a creel of dismay and betrayal, agony lancing through him as the Scarlet Green left the Candidate where he lay, slicing the Bronze deep.
She left Dezerac for dead, seeking out a new victim, the Cobalt Bronze limping after her, ichor spilling freely onto the sands. THERE!
Falienn had earned her wrath, daring to stand next to such a fine lady! WHO DID HE THINK HE WAS? Don't try to put her ladies down! OH NO! She leaped through the air, pouncing him with all of her might, claws out, teeth ready to latch on and go for his throat.

With a happy chirp, Marsh took a spot on Casgar's shoulder. She leaned slightly to hum and chitter at Fidget, then looked over at the sands. After a moment, the flit hunkered down and hid her face in dark hair, seeming to go to sleep where she sat.
P'tius stared for a moment, watching his brother and Casgar. Finally, he sighed, rubbing his face. "I'm just so worried..." He peeked out of between his fingers when somebody patted at his back. He looked downward at Nemo, blinking slightly.
"Your worry is commendable, and you're a good brother who just wants the best, but in this case, it's best that he's here, not there. Besides..." Nemo paused, watching the sands with increasingly wide eyes. "Oh dear, cover your eyes again. Come on, cover them!" As another hatchling went on a rampage, the greenrider reached up to try and cover the brownrider's face so he couldn't see. Would these babies ever calm down?

Jagmund
The friendly green left him, so the joy he felt ebbed away a little, but he was still feeling much better. Wait, was that an egg running around? He shook his head, smiling. It was nice to see playful babies after the violence.
He finally noticed Vimiath had moved, and with a gasp, he realized that Talela was here! No wonder the gold was in much better spirits. Did this mean that Auntie was okay? He felt like a small child again, and felt safer than he had all Hatching.
Then a little green came along and gave him a disgusted look. He frowned at her, wondering what her problem was. Well, he didn't want a green anyway, so she could do whatever she wanted!
Oh... but perhaps he thought too soon when she began to tear into Dezerac like the Candidate was prey. Then the bronze, that lovely third bronze! He defended the Candidate, but she just directed her attacks on him.
"No, not again..." Jagmund felt sorry for the bronze, he was just trying to do the right thing, wasn't he? Sitting on the sands suddenly seemed like a bad idea, so he slowly moved his legs under him...
And almost passed out from the pain of rising from his position. His core muscles tightened as he stood, causing his ribs to scream in agony. Jagmund bit back a yell and swayed, very close to falling to the sands again.
"Why must... you all... harm us?" He asked the dragonets, though he wasn't sure if he was close enough for his weak voice to be heard.
The green gave up tearing up her victim and moved to another, and Jagmund closed his eyes. This green had something against boys, didn't she?

Falienn
Falienn had frankly had it about up to here with all the attacks. He'd been lucky so far, but the green? She looked out for blood. Part of him had been hoping for the green, or a green. If he had to impress...it would infuriate K'ienn the most. Or disappoint him. Helping crack a white open intentionally would probably anger him most...But yeah. If he had to impress, something 'meager' would do best. Just not a bronze. To that effect, he'd sidled up closer to more ladies than men, hoping to be ignored by the largest of the clutch. One rather alluring lady had caught his eye, and he'd admittedly become more intent upon her than anything going on...
...Which was apparently a horrid mistake. He'd turned to look at what direction the screeching was coming from, one hand grabbing onto Jacquol's arm either to drag her back or duck behind her, it was hard to say, but it was too late already. Green and red filled his vision, and the world was set to spinning. His hand was dragged off of Jacquol's arm as he hit the sands on his back, both hands flying up to try pry the ravaging green from where she'd sunk her teeth into his throat, keep her from biting deeper.
"H-help!" He screamed. Or meant to. Only a wet gurgle came out instead...before he went limp, shredded hands dropping limp into the sands that were growing even more blood-soaked.
Jacquol
She'd not minded the High Reaches boy flirting...not really. She was Ambrin's, of course, but she couldn't help it, could she? She drew them like flies. And it was fun! At least until the boy she'd been letting think had her in the palm of his hand was ripped—literally—away, bore into the sand. "Faranth between!" She gasped, darting back a step. She'd been firmly told not to help, but...she also hadn't really seen what might very well be death this point blank before. "Get off him...!" She still didn't dare get closer, but...but why him? He hadn't even done anything...!

Another hard shake, more ripping to go with it, and as quickly as it had started, it was finished. Hazily, with vision limited by pain and blood and the effects of being shaken so violently, he started to assess himself. There was blood. Obviously, look past that. His intestines were...in. His shoulder...no, not so much. Beyond ******** if he knew, he'd find out when he started moving. Which he did.
No one was going to be carrying him off the Sands, thank you very much. He coughed and set about righting himself, pushing through the pain. He could do this. Pain was just pain, and he knew it well. Pain would never be what killed him, only a reminder that he was still alive. Pain and a creel from the bronze who'd tried to help him, and he'd...maybe probably hit, at some point. But he was already off limping after the green, and probably wouldn't hear Dezerac's mumble of regret, and gratitude that the hatchling had tried and succeeded in intercepting some of the green's wrath. It wasn't exactly coherent, anyway.
But it was the sort of thing Mezrin had done for him more times than he could count, and he really was grateful. And sorry. And he...
No, thinking about his brother would get him nowhere. Move, Dezerac. Pick yourself up and get out of here.

Turning away from the puddle of blood, the Scarlet Green stalked among the Candidates, searching for another victim. Someone who...
Yes. This one would do nicely. Why must we harm you? the Green replied, a sneer coloring her tone. She stalked up to him, claws out, and her brother dragged himself after her, trying to catch her in time.
But no, he was again too slow. Because we must. Because you are ours to meet, and know, and rend. With that, she gave a swipe, callously seeking to hurt Jagmund where he'd been wounded before.

Kiri "I think I'll just be relieved if the rest of theirs find their own. I don't know what I thought a Hatching would be like, but I can assure you, this wasn't it." Still she smiled, and looked back among the dragonets and the Candidates. When he mentioned Vimiath, she turned her gaze to the gold -- she hadn't really been paying attention to what the mother was doing -- and beamed. "She's looking better already! So glad that Talela seems to be on the mend. I would've hated for...well..." She nipped that thought firmly.
Everyone had thought that Vimiath might die, or Talela might fade away to nothingness, but no one really had talked about it. And she didn't want to bring that up in such a sensitive Hatching.
When the green came up to sniff Vennodren she almost gasped, thinking he might have found a match! But no... And when the green turned to face her, something within her desperately wanted the beautiful creature to be hers. Was this one going to be? She froze, for a moment, but then the green moved on.
The disappointment hit her surprisingly hard. She hadn't thought that simply being approached by one of the babies would have caused her such hope. Maybe she wanted to Impress more than she'd let on. Maybe this was what she wanted.
But then... more chaos, and she groaned. "Oh no. I thought we were over this!?" Part of the girl frowned at the savage green. This wasn't right, she didn't care about the color. Find yours, precious. Leave the fight for another day! She appreciated the greens fierceness, but mauling the men would do no one any good.
