Movie? ...Oh! Benjamin Button. I was actually thinking about Merlin from The Once and Future King.

Though to be honest, Tsuji, both the musical Camelot and the Disney animated Sword in the Stone are both based off of Mr. White's opus. smile
And I suspect we'd get along famously in "real life", Tsuji. smile

Yes, yes, they are, aretoo. White's writing style lends itself well to movie adaptation. Very much like Crichton's. Also, there is no RL, only AFK. wink I love the part where Merlyn turns Arthur into an ant... The Once and Future King The new ant put down the cadaver vaguely and began dragging the other two in various directions. It did not seem to know where to put them. Or rather, it knew that a certain arrangement had to be made, but it could not figure how to make it. It was like a man with a tea-cup in one hand and a sandwich in the other, who wants to light a cigarette with a match. But, where the man would invent the idea of putting down the cup and sandwich—before picking up the cigarette and match— this ant would have put down the sandwich and picked up the match, then if would have put down the match and up with the cigarette, then down with the cigarette and up with the sandwich, then down with the cup and up with the cigarette, until finally it had put down the sandwich and picked up the match. It was inclined to rely on a series of accidents to achieve its objects. It was patient, and did not think. When it had pulled the three dead ants into several positions, they would fall into line under the clod eventually, and that was its duty.

I *do* love that book... I need to get another copy of it. (I loaned it out, and it got misplaced and never came back. Just like my "Tales of the City" books.*Sigh*)
And I actually tried using "AFK" not long ago, and no-one knew of what I spoke... smile
