Iris watched the bludger as it flew by. She managed to get hit once and dodge the others that came too close to her. She looked at the ball that came her way and then at the target.
"Come on Iris..." Iris took herself. "If you want this position, you have to want this..."
Iris flew to the nearest bludger and swung at it.

Iris rubbed her head, "Ow...." Iris said, "That hurt..." She shook her head, "At least I'm not seeing doubles."
She double checked herself. "No blood, no double vision and I can still fly...I'm okay then...Let's go..."
Iris flew and hit another bludger. At the very least she was persistent. Hopefully that showed something.

Xavier heard the captain and hopped on to his new broom, a Firebolt 2. At first he was shocked that his grandpa and father bought it for him, but, never mind. He was the last one to take off, and he had to find that tiny golden ball before the other 3 does. Already on the air, he started searching. He turned his head from left to right, hoping to find the snitch. He already heard a couple of bludgers being hit, but it doesn't matter for him since the thing he has to do now is to find the snitch. He's always ready to be in the reserves again, at least he tried his best. And if he notices that being a seeker isn't gonna work out for him, he'll try out for the chaser position instead. " Come on snitch, show yourself to me! Do I have your attention? I know the way you've been livin' Tevye got slammed in his shoulder. He heard Remy and nodded "Yes Captain, I guess I'm a bit out of practice." He said with a bit of a smile rubbing his shoulder. After a bit he tried to hit one of the targets again.

Iris took a deep breath. It was a good thing she didn't have a temper at this moment. A very good thing indeed. Maybe that was do to the hit she just took to the head. Still very glad for lack of double vision and the fact her glasses were still okay.

Iris cheered, lifting her arms up in the air. "I did it.... I did it... Go me, go me!" Iris said to herself cheerfully as she watched the bludger hit her second target. She was feeling better now. She squealed, going in a circle with her broom.

Ⓡⓔⓜⓨ looked at the tiny young girl that popped up beside her. The wolf hadn't seen her in a while, but easily identified her. "Hi Minn. Go on over to the goals over there, and you can get started!" She watched the girl get settled in front of the goals, then flew over to her Vice Captain. "Hey Ell? Minn Nolynn over there is trying out for Keeper as well. Do you mind working with her?" She grinned, then flew over to the Beaters. Poor Iris and Tevye looked beat up! "Guys, keep going, but watch out for other players! And if you need to take a break, or get hurt, come find me. I know enough healing to help out. Do not hesitate to ask. I don't want any of you guys to be carried off to the hospital!" She was smiling, but her tone said she was serious. She hated to see people hurt, even by their own volition. The Captain sighed lightly as she watched her team. She couldn't wait to play alongside them this year. It would be great.

Elli had been watching quietly as Caitlin put a continuous barage of quaffles at Jacob. She would have joined in but felt the older girl had it covered, and she didn't want to overwhelm Jacob. "Apparently I spoke too soon..." Iris let her head hang as she missed again. "It's okay... At least it didn't hit me and I did get two targets. That's better than I thought I would get at this point. Can't stop now..."
Iris nodded her head and went for another swing. If she made about hit, she would be really happy... Part of her wonder if anyone was watching her... and if they were hopefully they were when she hitting the targets and not when she was getting clocked in the head.
