"Be careful; flattery will get you everywhere." Larai jested in reply, offering a small kiss afterwards.

"Then in that case, you're more beautiful than any angel and the greatest thief to ever walk the earth." Daemon said with a bright smile after their lips parted.

Larai giggled in delight, snuggeling all the closer. "You really don't want to leave this bed any time soon, do you?" she asked with a grin.

"Maybe. Whether it's out of laziness or desire for more cuddling has yet to be decided." Daemon said with a grin.

{Wouldn't it be funny as hell if Kai found them anyway, despite their having moved further down? Especially in a moment like this? XD}

"Maybe it's a little bit of both?" Larai said, closing her eyes as she kept herself ever so close to him. Needless to say, she was not going to fall back asleep any time soon, but she was comfortable enough as is.

"Maybe. I think it's mostly cuddling though." Daemon said as he gazed up at the sparkling crystals overhead. "I'm still sorry you have to go through with this." he said nuzzling her slightly. "Even being the drama magnets you all are, I wasn't expecting something like this to come up so soon. I shouldn't have to drop all this pressure on you." Somehow he just knew that even though she said yes, Larai still wasn't entirely comfortable with it all.

Daemon was, in fact, correct to think that Larai wasn't completely comfortable with things as they were. She doubted she'd ever truly be ready to have children, especially in a situation like this, but this was as close to ready as she would ever be. "I know, I know. We'll get through this though, I promise. We'll both be just fine." Larai assured Daemon, while also trying to calm her own fears as well.

"I feel like I should be the one telling you that." Daemon said with a slight chuckle as he took of her hands and intertwining their fingers.

{Inorite? XDD Ariae and Jaquel don't seem much the type either, though, to be honest. If not trying for kids, Ariae and Jaquel almost seem like they'd be in one of those loving-yet-celibate marriages. Almost.}

"I'll be just fine. I always have, I always will be. I'm sure we'll get through this just as we get through everything else." Larai said, despite the fears she still kept hidden as best as she could.

"We've just barely gotten together and you make it sound like we've already gone through hell and back." Daemon said with an amused chuckle.

"I know; it's only been a few months. But with Milly, my family, and many other problems that come up, we might as well have." Larai replied with a large blush and a nervous laugh.

"At least Kai hasn't been able to find our new cave yet." Daemon said with a grin. "I've seen him come snooping around a few times, but he's always given up before coming down this far."

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai chuckled. "He's always had a short patience. Coming down this far would either get him lost and aggrevate him to no end or..wait, there really isn't an alternative for that."

((I love how the art department sent out an email saying my professor would be out an hour and a half after class would have started.))

"Or he'd actually manage to get close to us before I eject him from the caves with my shadows." Daemon added with a smirk.
