Larai chuckled. "Our family is a magnet for wierd. Him laying an egg is really something surprising in a situation like this?" she asked with a small smirk. "Fine, fine. Tell me what you want and I'll consider it."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Kai glanced coldly at Daemon before looking back at Larai. "I...don't know yet. Just be glad I'm not demanding you two break up. Still don't trust him!"

"As nice as the snake tail is, I'm sure you miss the Trouser God anyway." Van said with a grin.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"You know damn well that I wouldn't, even if you asked me to." Larai said with much indifference at Kai's cold stares as she held onto one of Daemon's hands.

"Oh, you can say that again!" Mala said, smirking ever so impishly now. "I love the tail, but there's just some things it can't do that the Trouser God can."

"Unfortunately. I'm still waiting for some proof he's not an a** in sheep's clothing." Kai said suspiciously as he folded his arms.

"All the more reason to switch back and forth." Van said with a grin.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I'll look into my anatomy spellbooks and see if any of them have something of use to offer." Mala promised, excited about the idea of sleeping with Van in the way she was accustom to once again. "Of course, I mean after we get up and start with the day."

"I'm still waiting for you to get over that overbearing sense of paranoia." Larai replied dryly.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Oh, do I have to?" Van whined, curling his tail up and taking their egg to hug it.

"And I'm still waiting for definitive proof that this guy isn't planning something. But we can't all get what we want, now can we?"

Larai was almost tempted to point out just how much Daemon was doing for the family, but decided not to, since Kai would most certainly have a large freak out moment. "You'll get your proof. Just you wait."

"Not now, silly!" Mala chuckled. "I mean later, after we've had our well deserved rest."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Oh will I now?" Kai said, rather amused by such a promise. "Let me know when this magical proof comes up then. I'm sure mom will want to see it too."

"Good. I think I'm going to take that nap now." Van said with a slight yawn as he cuddled up with Mala and their egg.

Larai rolled her eyes. "Just wait and see."

"Mmkay." Mala muttured, closing her eyes and letting herself fall asleep before long.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Well, if you're quite done...." Daemon said, starting to get annoyed with Kai's antics and suspicions and generally being annoying as he snapped his fingers.

"YOUBASTARD!!" Kai cursed as he instantly dropped into his shadow as if a hole opened up beneath his feet, Daemon ejecting him back outside the cave.

"I'm sorry about his behavior." Larai said, apologizing to Daemon in Kai's behalf - not like he would ever do so anyway.

Daemon shrugged. "It's fine. I just need to roll with the punches until they know I'm harmless now. Or at least until they realize I can't really die just yet or I drag us all into hell." he said with a bit of a nervous smile.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"They'll see before long. I promise." Larai muttured, offering Daemon a kiss once more. "If not your attitude, learning that you're saving us all from an eternity in Hell will surely do it."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"At least I can safely say that this is not my fault." Daemon said somewhat proudly. "They can blame that on Marianne or whoever in the family tree is to blame for this mess."

"True." Larai muttured, nodding in agreement. "You're just trying to help fix things as best as you can. They shouldn't fault you for that."
