It's actually a bit like the paper I'm writing, talking about how a lot of the food we have has either been heavily inspired by, added to, or simply changed from other cultures. Like the Chinese food we have is really not authentic.))

{How one can write paragraphs and paragraphs about food is beyond me. Aside from the taste, it isn't that interesting of a subject. I wish you the best of luck with it, because lord knows I'd flunk an assignment like that hands down. >.<}

Larai was pacing around the upper levels of the cave, trying to figure out exactly how she'd tell her family - and Daemon, for that matter - that she was...expecting. She bit her lip in nervousness as she thought of how her family might react, and started pacing a little more frantically.

"How long have you been pacing? If I wasn't taking a nap, you would have made me dizzy by now." Daemon said, having woken up to find Larai walking back and forth. "Keep it up, and you're going to wear a hole in the floor and crash down into the lower levels."

"Pacing? Me? No, I'm not pacing!" Larai said, her voice sounding slightly sarcastic and very worried. "I just...uh..how do I say this to everyone without freaking them out...?"

"Might I suggest starting with 'don't freak out, but...'?" Daemon said, raising an eyebrow and wondering what she was talking about.

Larai sighed deeply, swiftly turned to face Daemon, and went on to mash her lips against his before saying what she would. "Daemon, I'm...I'm pregnant."

Daemon blinked a few times before smiling somewhat nervously. "Well....the devil has no reason to drag us to hell now."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"That devil might not, but I've still got to find out how to keep my family from going all moody on me." Larai said with a small frown. "My mom's going to flip, dad probably will too, and Kai's going to get even more overprotective than before."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Well, I should be fine, so long as Kai sticks to the punches and doesn't resort to using his powers." Daemon assured her. "Besides, we have to tell them sooner or later."

((FREAKING FINISHED.))

"I'll stop him before he gets that far. I'm...I'm just nervous about this all." Larai then said, offering Daemon a light hug after sitting herself on the edge beside him.

"I'm sure you are, and I don't blame you." Daemon said returning the hug. "If I had thought of it sooner, I would have suggested going to find Marianne to see if we couldn't end this mess and save the baby as a last resort."

((Of course now I have to go soon. XP ))

"After seeing how mom hates her so much and that she was a contributing factor to..uhm..you know what, we can't be too surprised if Marianne doesn't help any." Larai warned, hugging Daemon just a little tighter.
