"Hahahahahaha yesssss, well, it hurts my poor little feelings to know that you don't trust me, but I can assure you, I am not lying to you, and while making you squirm is enjoyable, like everybody else, I have a need to keep you at least semi-alive...for the moment."
He 'disappeared'...'reappearing' behind Thaliat...though he moved slow enough for Thaliat to realize that that was no simple 'phase in/out' move. "Now, about your parents...if they are one of the many souls that are stuck in the walls around here, then I am afraid that they are a rather...permanent fixture to my humble abode." He glanced over his shoulder at Thaliat. "So I'm afraid that for which you seek is most likely unattainable now..."
He looked forward at the wall, closing his eyes. Only a small grin escaped his lips.
"So tell me, Thaliat. What is it you plan to do now?"

"Damn you, you soul sucking monstrosity!" Soulless Thaliat raised her crossbow at Undakai's back, her finger pressing down on the trigger. At the last moment she jerked her wrist to the side causing the bolt to miss Undakai by a few centimeters. She was only barely able to resist trying to kill him, even though she knew the assault would not have succeed with the crossbow.
Soulless Thaliat glared at her boots and cursed under her breath, shaking with rage. She did not raise her eyes to check Undakai's reaction, for she was certain that if she did, her rage would win this time. And that would really put a kink in her plans.
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
Thaliat swore repeatedly. Undakai was pushing the right buttons, and she could feel her rage churning up inside her. If she lost control...well, that was not something she wanted to consider.
Thaliat began taking slow deep breaths. "Breathe, Thaliat. Stop and think about what you are trying to do. Relax. Just..BREATHE, DAMN IT!
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
"...BREATHE, DAMN IT!" Soulless Thaliat's fist squeezed down on the end of the crossbow, the other fist clenched tightly by her side. She shook her head angrily. "WHY THE HELL CAN'T I JUST FREAKIN' CALM DOWN?! C'MON, THALIAT, GET A FREAKIN' GRIP."
She kicked the wall vehemently, leaving a hole where her foot struck.
"OW! DAMN, THAT HURT! Oh...crud...that hurt."

The grin on his face only widened, looking over his shoulder. "You missed, dear Thaliat..." A small amount of smoke seemed to rise from his left hand, which was holding a bolt between the index and middle fingers. "Temper Temper, you don't want to end up like dear old pappa and mamma, do you? If it's any consolation, they screamed for their lives before I added them to my wall. Actually, they are still screaming for their lives...though every soul in the wall does...oops, that's probably not very consoling." He said, looking like he had just realized this fact.
"Oh well, just another brick in the wall."

Thaliat's head snapped up angrily and she locked her eyes on Undakai, but she did not move from where she stood. Thaliat clamped her right hand around her locket and muttered a few low words. The air around her began to grow heavy and still. A blue is light encircled her and the locket began glowing brightly, the light escaping around Thaliat's fingers.
Suddenly her link with her remaining spirit companions was severed, because they were no longer roaming in the physical or spiritual planes. Thaliat, however was not concerned. She knew she could release them at any point, though for the time being, they had become her captives. She could now draw upon their souls' energies, and she suspected the time would come when she would need all of her captives strength to succeed.
Given the options, I think they'd prefer captivity by me. Undakai seems to do far worse to his captives. Thaliat let the locket fall back against chest and stood glaring at Undakai. He seemed to have missed what just happened a moment before, but that would likely change soon.
"Oh, I did not miss. I merely altered trajectory so as not to hit you...this time." Thaliat reholstered her crossbow and crossed her arms over her chest. Thaliat feigned a pout. "I am hurt, you seem to constantly underestimate my ability. But, if what you say is true, I will see my family avenged."

((Nice referance there Unda! "All in all your just another brick in the wall" I think thats how the line goes! And I'm not gone, I am just tending to my broken foot))
Saverio stopped running he was more then a few blocks away from the Unda Complex and his foot was throbbing. He gave himself a dose of powerful painkillers and felt the pain in his foot becoming bearable. He slowly removed his sock feeling the bones being tugged along with the sock he screamed "MULTIPLE COMPOUND FRACTURE!" at the top of his lungs. He gently removed the sock putting himself though a lot of pain. Saverio looked at his foot and ankle and frowned the toes where broken and there where multiple Compound Fractures along his foot He breathed hevaly as he gave himself more painkiller.
Breathing heavily from the pain he knew he would have to see a doctor or a healer to save the foot, and that it wouldn't stop bleeding anytime soon. "Hmm seems blood loss is going to try and kill me" he mumred as he took the belt he was wearing off and tied it around the bottom of the knee. "A make shift turnicate will be good for now. He looked at the bones pushing out of his foot and was mad. "I let my guard down for one god damned minute and now I lost my hammer and my foot! I liked my foot! It got me places!" He was venting to noone, or at least he hoped as he thought of what he could do now.

He snapped the bolt like a twig, letting it fall to the ground. "Hmm? Underestimate? I think you have me wrong, my dear Thaliat, I would never under estimate you...or any of my opponents, for that matter." He took another step forward, looking at a painting of a woman that hung from the wall in the hallway a few yards forward.
"But I'm not going to go into detail about how my mind, or my mind games work. Maybe in time, but not now...I'm much more interested in the revenge part." He said 'revenge' with a sickening malice, and the word seemed to echo down the hallway. The lights in the room began to flicker and dim, and an aura of pure evil seemed to seep from the floor of Undacorp, which seemed to center itself around Undakai. "I want to see you're revenge, Everwood. I want to know how much sweeter the look of fear and terror on your face will be when you die. I want to know...will you scream for mercy louder then your mother did?" The laughter was slow, menacing and as evil as was the aura that now filled the room.
A blast of electricity erupted from one side of the room to the other directly behind Thaliat, leaving two large holes in either side of the wall around her. "Lets have a little fun, shall we?"

Thaliat knew Undakai was baiting her. She knew he was trying to goad her into attacking. She knew Undakai had yet to see her for what she was. She knew the odds of defeating Undakai on her own were slim and she knew her rage was boiling again. Thaliat did not care.
"I am NOT afraid to die..."
Thaliat wanted nothing more than to hurt Undakai like he had hurt her parents...her family. As the walls erupted around her, Thaliat sprang forward with a guttural snarl. She unsheathed her sword, its blade glowing with the same blueish aura that surrounded Thaliat.
"...but I wonder how you feel about it?"
She lunged at Undakai, savagely slashing at him with her sword, her arm arching down in a rapid, fluid movement that seemed oddly graceful.

He turned his body to the side, bringing up his his hand, his claws hitting the sword, sparks flying from where steel met his claws. He still held his other hand behind his back.
"Death was only amusing the first time."
He sidestepped, his claws sliding out from underneath the sword, using her momentum in an attempt throw her off balance.
"Though, I doubt you'll find it as amusing as I did."
With unnatural speed, he spun around, aiming a kick at her lower back.

Thaliat saw the kick an instant too late and was only able to twist away enough that she protected her spine. The kick connected with her hip and sent her sprawling across the floor, coming to a stop against the wall with a resounding thud.
"Ow. Well, I'll have a bruise come morning." Thaliat pouted as she raised herself up on one arm. "I really should be more careful."
Thaliat leaped to her feet, ignoring the dull ache in her hip.
"I am fighting an undead evil soul sucker after all. I really shouldn't slack off so much!"
Thaliat raised her sword so the blade pointed upward and grinned. The blade's aura grew increasingly brighter, as did her locket as Thaliat began to channel her captives' energies, focusing them into the blade. She never took her eyes off Undakai.

He nimbly recovered from his kick, looking smugly at Thaliat. "Oh, you make it sound as if I was some kind of Vampire or Zombie..."
He was upon her in a flash, looking directly into her eyes, grinning broadly. "I can assure you, I am neither..." His knee was just as fast as his kick, this time aiming for her gut.

Without moving her eyes from his stare, Thaliat sensed the slightest shift and immediately brought the hilt of her sword crashing down to meet with the attacking knee before it could reach its intended target.
"Thought you'd try that little trick twice, did you?" Thaliat chuckled at Undakai. "I may not know what you are, but I can see that you sure don't play well with others. Naughty Undakai, tsk, tsk."
With her free hand, Thaliat drew a dagger from behind her back and pointed it at Undakai's chest. Her face grew grave again, eyes narrowing and glaring back at Undakai.
"All I have to do is push. It wouldn't kill you, of that I am certain, but I bet it would hurt. That might make me feel a bit better about things. Might pay your price, so to speak. The fee for my family's souls is high after all."

Playing with a form of energy in her hands out of boredom...She stares arund the battle field... Sencing the battle between Undakai, and Thaliat, she stares at the undacorp building... Still playing with this energy in her hands. She waits for someone to tussle with...

"Oh my, I must be getting slow in my old age." He said with a chuckle, pressing his chest against the dagger. "Maybe you should take the opportunity rather then talk about it." He dropped his knee and jumped back, standing tall again. "A missed opportunity...you never know, you may have been able to hurt me." He chuckled coldly. "Of course, I'm one to talk...I spent quite some time taunting your mother before I eventually got around to tearing apart her body and imprisoning her soul. Oh, you should have seen the look on her face." His eyes met Thaliats with an icy stare. "It was the second most satisfying expression I had ever seen on a mortals face before their demise."

Thaliat sneered at Undakai and tossed the dagger lightly into the air, catching it so that the blade now pointed up. Her hand whipped forward and she released the dagger with a guttural cry. The dagger flew directly at Undakai as Thaliat dropped to the ground and rolled down a side hall out of sight. She needed to remove herself before her rage unleashed itself and she lost all control.
Thaliat stood slowly against the wall and murmured a chant under her breath. The locket began to glow, beams of blueish light coming at her from many directions and filtering into the locket. Thaliat could feel her strength growing, and she found herself wondering where she was pulling the energies from.
No, it can't be that...can it? That would mean...
Thaliat straightened and severed the ties to the energy. She had what she needed for the moment, but she knew she would be able to get more later. She just wasn't sure where she pulled it from, or who she pulled it from. But the would be time for that later.
Thaliat leaped back out to face Undakai, drawing her sword in front of her, ready to launch her next attack when the time came. Both her locket and the sword glowed with the fiercely pulsating blue aura.
"Hey, hope you didn't miss me."
