Hm, what can I say about myself? For starters I guess I'll state that I was invited, what can I say I'm gifted. I'm not a very patient person nor do I like being told I'm wrong. Yes I am a grammar nazi and I am ready and willing to pull a Kunta-Kintea on you and lop off your foot for misspelling "your." I enjoy writing, reading, drawing, computers, anime, and video games. Layra here. Almost old enough to buy porn, I'm a froshie in college. I likes math, theoretical physics, linguistics, electronica, fantasy, sci-fi, anime, writing, confusing people, and fire. I loves the fire.
I tend to be a bit of an intellectual snob, at least when it comes to physics and math. I will occasionally ream someone for heinous biological "misguidedness," but probably not.
I'm not a grammar nazi, however. As a linguist, I like playing with grammars and syntax, so, like with the slight lack of agreement in the first paragraph, I will push the grammar evey once in a while.
Also, if I start babbling in another language, that's probably nerurv, the conlang I'm building. Don't mind that; it's just me being weird (I LOVE SEMICOLONS!)

So, let's see...just turned 17 (<_<...>_>...late birthday presents are accepted. XD), and I enjoy listening to music, playing music, watching others play music, depriving myself of sleep by various means, speaking in convoluted and occasionally archaic phrases, and living solely in the moment. (Frequently to the exclusion of the very near future, but let's not discuss that.)

I'm a huge fan of most things metal, as well as many things techno-y, classical, avant-garde, or just weird. Among my favorite bands are (get comfortable, all, this might be a long list...) Dream Theater, In Flames, Ephel Duath, Mayhem, Mnemic, Frank Zappa, Dissection, Angra, Iron Maiden, Children Of Bodom, Pain Of Salvation, Amorphis, Ayreon, Meshuggah, Opeth, Ulver, and Zero Hour, though I'm forcibly cutting myself off there, because I could go on for hours (not only do I like a lot of bands, I suck at deciding on "favorite" anything). XD

If you've survived this far into my self-rant, you may also be interested to know that I'm the drummer for the band Impostor, and I've been trying to improve as a songwriter.

On Gaia, you'll likely see me on the metal, musician, and Gaia community forums, as well as notice my poor attempts at Arena submissions from time to time.
