Element had followed the woman silently into the room, and examines it as he sits down. His eyes fall upon the picture, looking at the man in the frame and frowning slightly. (Something about that man...) he thinks to himself, looking up at the woman speaks to him. He wasn't exactly sure what he should ask. He finally decides on trying to keep things simple. "...How...how did you come to know Dragon...?" he asks quietly...

The woman spoke in a sad tone, making her way into a fairly long explination. "I was..." She sounded as though she had cut off something she was about to say. After a pause, as though she were rethinking her statement, she continued, "I was one of his partners on the field. He was always the one coming up with the plans. Back in that day he was known as a hero, he was a hero. He did amazing things and even saved a few peoples' lives... including mine. He soon climbed the ranks and became King Kid." For a moment she sounded proud but then she said in an ashamed tone, "I helped him and stayed by his side. He had strong ideals, great determination and good leadership... but something changed... something caused him to become cold and distant and even I couldn't do anything to help him. He began to do such horrible things... but he was found out and banished from the CKC. I was heart broken by his betrayal." She shook her head back and forth, ashamed of herself.

Element listens to her story, noting how she paused i nthe beginning. (There's something she's not telling me...) he thinks to himself, but decides not to press the matter...yet. Instead, he changes tact, asking gently, "Do you have any idea where he might have gone after he was banished...?"

"Of coarse. It wasn't long before I had to retire. He came to me then. He told me that he had seen the error of his ways and wished for me to forgive him, accept him once again. Deep down I knew he was lying... but I wanted to believe it so badly that it clouded my judgment. I put up with a lot from him... but after a few years I abandoned him once again. I was tired of being minipulated."
She contined, growing ever sadder. "But I had a son. By ridding myself of Dragon I was putting my dear sweet child in danger......... So I left him at the orphanage where he could be safe. After I had finaly gotten rid of him I never heard from him again. I was horrified when I heard that he had started his criminal orgonization.................. I couldn't do anything about it. I only have small clues as to where he could be. Nothing definate."

(She must be talking about Chet) Element thinks, looking over at the picture of the couple once more. (So, Chet had been orphaned because he in danger from Dragon while he was with his mother...I wonder what he did to the father...wait...what if...no...no, that's silly...it's impossible...) Element looks back at the woman, wondering what else he should ask that might give him an advantage against Dragon...

When Element didn't ask another question she continued on her own. "He doesn't show his face much anymore. Now he usualy wears a mask or finds some way to cover his face so no one can see it."
Her voice turned cold and angry. "The b*****d calls me on my videophone asking me to join him because of the skills I showed on the field in the CKC. I've told him that I lost my skills long ago after I retired and took on a quiet life. He seems to believe that such skills never completely leave... and... he wants me to bring my son to his side. He says that he wants him because that he must have inherited some of hi... I mean my skills." She had once again cut herself off but she continued after looking at one of the photographs. "I'm sure that can't be all that he wants from us but I can't figure out what it could be. There has to be something evil planned in that twisted mind of his." It was impossible to read her expression through her veil.

The Macrojackals bungled into the camp snarling and growling at their Prey.
a voice from on top of a high rock piped up and said. "You might wish to join me if you don't want to be eaten, Macrojackals are very durable."
The way the average Macrojackal hunts is actually by Ramming into it's prey's body and breaking a few bones before letting it's razorsharp teeth bite into the helpless creature's neck, 4 of them were attempting this on Chet and Charlie barrelling down towards the two.

((All the martial arts I can think of are for humans attacking humans... I don't know much about fighting animals. I'd need someone else to go first as both/either inspiration or a confidence booster. sweatdrop sweatdrop I'm terribly sorry.))

Sophia sees the macrojackals circle around Chet and Charlie. She stands back up and readies her medical pistol. Her eyes begin to flash blue.
"I am HW-100XSEL, codename Sophia. I will not allow you to endanger human life... I will not let you harm Chet!"
With that last word, Sophia fires bursts of medicinal nanomachines at the various macrojackals surrounding the group. Although these same nanomachines are used to heal and treat the many injuries of humans, Sophia has issued new commands to her machines.
NANOMACHINES - DESTROY TISSUE Sophia processed in her Operating System.
(( DESTROY TISSUE injects nanomachines into a living being's body. Once inside, the machines slowly destroy and decompose the living tissue of the target. While it is an ineffective way of killing - as the nanomachine's main function is for the healing of a living being - it will slowly weaken and discomfort a target for as long as the nanomachines stay in the body. ))

Chet was taken off guard by the macrojackals and took up a defensive position in a panic. After Sophia's attack started taking affect he wacked on across the nose in a weak attempt to deffend himself. He didn't have much of an idea on how to fight animals. He stayed close to Charlie, figureing she'd be able to fair better against them then he would. He couldn't resist making a joke, though. "Maybe you can consider this you first job as a body guard," he said to Charlie sarcasticaly and thought in his head, Well wha'do'ya know? I made a joke. He didn't make jokes a lot.

Sophia continues to fire rapid blasts of nanomachines at the target - slowly but effectively eating away at the macrojackal's organic bodies. She continues to shoot diligently with her "weapon" until her gun becomes dry.
"My nanomachine amount has been depleted. I must wait for new machines to be made inside of me." Sophia replied in a lifeless tone.

Element nods slowly, starting to rise. He wasn't sure he'd be able to get much more information from her, and he had a feeling that Chet and the others were in some sort of danger. "You have a been a great, help, ma'am, and I promise, I will do all in my power to keep Chet safe from Dragon..."
