he hit his head on the corner of her bed side table "OW" he sat up on the floor "ok lets go" he stood and walked to the door

she rolled her eyes and fallowed him. her coffing starting to get worse

he walked threw the school to the campus door out side and started twords the doctors office

she stayed with him as best she could, stopping when her coffing was at its worst

he turned and picked her up carring her into the doctors office and laid her on the igsamining table he sat next to her with one hand around her waist

the doctor walked in and sat in front of them. "what's the problem here?"

she tried to answer but she could only coff now

"she cant speak and she has a painfull cough" he held her close to him

she was still coffing and rested her head on his shoulder wishing it would just stop

"I see. let me examine it" he walked over to them with a small flashlight in his hands "can you open you're mouth please miss?"

she did what she was told, lifting her head off of her boyfriends shoulder, with some difficulty because she was still coffing a bit

"it doesn't look to good from this, you're thought's all red, we will have to look farther into this, is there a later date you can come back"

he started to get worried "please look at it now she has a consert for school coming up i read it on the agenda can you please look at it now" there was a pleading in his voice

"I wish I could. the closest I have for the appointment is this Friday, 2 days from now, can you come back then? and I don't think she'll be singing any time soon"

she coffed softly nodding her head yes to coming back on Friday

"yeah we will come in on friday" he looked at his girl friend hoping she is ok he kissed her softly then stood "thank you doctor" he turned and led her back to the school

he wrote down in his book that they would be back on Friday

she leaned agents him for support as her eyes started drifting shut again and her coffing slowed and her breathing became raspy

when they got back t school he led her to her dorm and he smiled at her "does your throat hurt?"

she nodded but had stopped coffing for the moment

"ill be right back" he took off and ran to the cafateria he mixed hot huney lemon juce and alittle bit lof wiskey he came back with a glass it was well sterd he held the glass out to her "this should sooth your thoat its something my aunt taught me"
