Larai sighed deeply. "Fine, fine. Let's go now, if we must."

((I need to do a self portrait for drawing class, and seeing the almost finished product is kind of freaking me out right now. o_O ))

"Whatever happens, I'll be right here." Daemon said, taking her hand in his and placing upon it a gentle kiss as he led her out of the caves.

{How so? Is it extremely accurate, or is the teacher telling you to use a method that makes it look nothing like you?}

"Just...just be prepared for angry glares and numerous threats, to say the very very very least on the best of days."

((It's pretty damn accurate, despite my less than stellar drawing skills. o_O ))

"I know. It's not like it would go any better if we waited a few months." Daemon said as he walked hand in hand with her.

"True. Still, I'm really nervous about telling my over-protective family about this of all things. Even though, of course, it has to be done."

"Why wouldn't you be? Your dating the demon everyone else hates and now caring his child to keep everyone out of hell. You've got all the right in the world to be nervous."

((I could swear it's watching me. o.O ))

Larai chuckled, noting that before long, they were already close to the exit - therefor - close to her parents already. Her smile fell a little bit. "True. Doesn't make me any less nervous knowing that, though."

"I promise, whatever they think, I won't leave you." he assured her.

"I'll hold you to that." Larai said as they, before long, approached the ruins.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Moment of truth. Care to do the honors?" Daemon asked looking down at Larai as they stood on Mala and Van's doorstep.

Larai took a deep breath and rapped upon the door, waiting for a moment more.

Van groaned, not wanting to get up just yet. "You wanna get that?"

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala snuggled closer, groaning a bit as well. "But I dun waaaanaa!" she whined softly, hugging him close to her for a few more moments. In all honesty, she sounded like a child being woken up for school.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Soul bond or not, I'm the one that just gave birth. Or rather laid an egg. Either way, I have an excuse to stay comfy." Van said giving her a quick, tight hug.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Fine. If it's important, though, I'm dragging your a** down there with me." Mala muttured, a little grumpy about having to leave the comfort of the bed and their collective warmth just to answer the door.
