"Good thing I'm currently a**-less then." Van joked as he stayed cuddled in bed with their egg.

Mala begrudgingly went down and answered the door. Upon seeing Larai, she hugged her daughter and smiled slightly. "Welcome home, sweetie! Also, your father and I have a bet to settle so...is this just a casual visit or has something serious happened?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Well..." Daemon slipped a comforting arm around Larai's shoulders as he looked down at her. In his personal opinion, he thought it best to get the biggest shock out of the way and then follow it up with the explanation to try and dull the shock. Of course, knowing Mala's overprotectiveness....

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Erm...yes. It is. Very much so." Larai said, getting nervous anyway.

"Okay sweetie. Just wait a seccond so I can get your father." Still obviously sleepy, Mala nodded and headed back upstairs to drag Van downstairs to hear it as well.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Everything's going to be alright, just try to relax." Daemon whispered reassuringly as he gave her a kiss on the cheek while Mala was out of the room.

"Aww, that can't be good...." Van groaned as he followed Mala, egg wrapped in his tail behind him. Something serious meant he had to get up. Something serious was never a good sign.

Larai smiled as best as she could when her parents came downstairs. Glancing over at Daemon one last time for comfort before confessing what she would, she said, "Mom...Dad...I'm..uhm...I'm pregnant."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Cue Van's dropping as far as humanly possible. Had he still been pregnant, he probably would have fainted on the spot. "You're WHAT?!"

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala turned paler than she ever had, just staring ahead in disbelief.

"I'm pregnant." Larai said again, somewhat quieter this time. She clung to Daemon just a little more tightly, clearly more nervous than she had previously been.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Wha...! Buh...! Why on EARTH would you think this was a good idea?! I thought you were the smart twin!!" Van sputtered. "This is Daemon we're talking about! Of all the men in the world to get knocked up by, you pick him?!"

"Hey, take it easy, there's a mostly reasonable explanation for all this, I swear." Daemon said, pulling Larai a little closer in comfort as he looked back at the couple with a serious expression before explanation their situation and that his intentions were good, followed by more apologizing on his part for his past behavior.

((Need to take a shower and then heading to bed. See you tomorrow. Figuratively speaking, of course.))

Larai kept silent as Daemon explained the situation, still incredibly tense as she waited for her parents to respond to all this. Of course, Mala was still staring in colorless coma horror.

Van gave a frustrated sigh through gritted teeth as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Alright, you now have permission to hate your mother...." he grumbled to Mala.

Also, if what Mala says is inaccurate, let's pretend she says whatever age is right instead~ biggrin }

"Since when did I not?" Mala asked dryly, an extremely pissed off look now replacing that colorless shock. "Being a neglectful b***h who runs off to whore around leaving me to raise my younger brother when I was twelve is reason enough for me to hate the woman. We're just adding logs to the fire at this point."

"Well, what do you want to do then? I don't know about you, but I'm not too keen on suffering in hell for eternity."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Consider yourself lucky, Van. You wouldn't be. It'd just be me and any blood relatives of mine." Mala pointed out with a small sigh, having heard from Marianne and Milly about this spell at one point or another.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Soul bond, remember? Emphasis on the 'soul' part. If you get dragged down to hell, I'm going down with you." Van pointed out.
