"That's true..." Mala muttured, sighing once more.

"We're having the child, just as a failsafe. Until it's born, though, we'll be working for a way to turn this to our favor - so that we don't have to keep going through this cycle throughout the generations." Larai then answered Van's previous question, a more serious look now resting upon her face.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Alright, just don't do anything stupid once it starts to show." Van said folding his arms. "I guess we should look into a way to track down Marianne then."

"I won't, don't worry." Larai said with a soft chuckle. In the back of her mind, though, she couldn't help but wonder if things would go just as well when telling Kai.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"As for you," Van said narrowing his eyes at Daemon. "you are on a very tight leash. Harm my daughter in any way, shape, or form, and you are going to be wishing you were in hell." he warned.

"I know, I know...I'm sorry." Daemon said, hanging his head slightly in guilt.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai didn't know how to interject, so instead, she remained silent.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Look, isn't there any way for me to prove that I've changed? Anything I can do to make it up to you all?" Daemon asked hopefully.

{Don't know what to do with Mala or Larai so... sweatdrop }

((Mala must have some response to this. Daemon's actually taking responsibility after all. sweatdrop ))

{I really don't know what to have her say at this point. All I can think of is either her being pissy still, but even then I don't know how to word it. I've hit an all-time-low for block.}

{I have nothing. I might have considered Mala suggesting they get married, but what's the point in that? Marriage rituals are often just legal bindings as well as a form of showing respect for one's gods in including them in such bonds. When Larai hardly respects the gods herself, let alone how little Daemon has in the past, it seems pointless at best. I've also thought of Mala just getting all pissy with Daemon and telling him something along the lines of "go rot in hell", but then that would just make her more of an unsympathetic b***h than anything. So unless she goes above and beyond rediculously unreasonable and demands that they get a soul bond - so that Daemon could not harm her without harming himself as well as a form of punishment for Larai for dating a man that she did not approve of - but again, that seems to be more of a b***h move than anything.}
