"Very well. If you venture near this bordello even once, I will assume you are an adulterer and I will treat you as such." Mala warned, leaning against the brothel's wall and crossing her arms.

"Can we at least make it a radius thing? I shouldn't get branded as an adulterer because I need to pass by to get to another shop." Daemon pointed out.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"If you get within a five-foot radius of this or any other brothel, you are automatically a liar and an adulterer and I will see you punished as such." Mala stated with a serious look on her face.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Then in that case....I'm gone." Daemon said pointing off in some random direction before wandering off and away from the bordello to go shopping.

((I was going to say after shopping, but did you have hijinks in mind?))

{None, really. Sometimes one of us will come up with something kooky and it works, and I wanted to see if you had anything in mind.}

"This almost feels like a puzzle, what do you buy to use up the exact amount of gold without going over?" Daemon grumbled to himself as he sat on his bed back in the cave. He wound up getting some furniture to make the place more homey along with some things for the baby and the most beautiful and expensive necklace he could find for her. "Good thing I kept the receipts, otherwise she'd probably want me to bring all this stuff back to show her proof I got it all." he said as he went to meet back up with the others.

Of course, Mala intended for this puzzle to be as difficult as possible without taking the relationship-ruining easy way out. She was trying to set Daemon up for failure, and would most likely end up sulking for a long while if he managed to get through this all without screwing up.

Larai was sitting in the living room of her parents' home, holding a sleeping Anise in her arms so that Van could do whatever he wished for the moment without having to worry about the baby. She couldn't help but wonder if all babies were this quiet...

Daemon knocked on the door, sorting through his receipts to make sure he didn't lose any as he waited for the door to open. He was feeling pretty nervous that he didn't satisfy Mala's demands, or that Larai wouldn't like his presents.

{I'm confuzzled. Does Larai or does Mala answer the door?}

Larai headed towards the door, careful as to not wake Anise. Upon seeing Daemon, she immediately hugged him with her free arm and offered a kiss. "Looks like you haven't forgotten about me yet." she joked with a grin afterwards.

"How could I? Your mother had me running around on a giant shopping spree lest I be deemed unfaithful." Daemon said with a small smile after the kiss.

Larai looked utterly confused. "Shopping spree..unfaithful? I don't see how those two apply, lest it involves whores."
