((It's another one that I don't know where it would go, but here it is:

The way I see it, Daemon doesn't technically have a form of his own. He really just came about because Jaquel got cursed and his dark side kind of evolved into another being. Daemon's just a living mass of shadows really that can either take on a solid form or possess or "infect" other things like he did Milly's fetus. So what if something happens that he can't maintain his solid form and he's stuck living as or in someone's shadow?

And that's really all I've got.))

{That's pretty interesting, actually. Perhaps, since he possessed Milly's unborn fetus, he was getting most of his power and energy from her, like an unwitting parasite? Therefor, he wouldn't be able to go too long without his living host, and because she killed herself - she ended the flow of magical energy that allowed him to physically manifest outside of the shadows? For added effect, the baby could have a similar affliction and could end up in the same parasitical relationship with Larai that Daemon had with Milly, if we go with this? This could definately be milked for quite a bit.}

As if on cue, Daemon suddenly felt like a chunk of his strength had just been ripped from his body and collapsed onto one knee. "I just had to go and open my big mouth...." he said, his body flickering between solid and shade.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Oh gods! What's happening now?!" Larai exclaimed, reaching over to grab onto Daemon and pull him up. When her hands went right through him, however, a look of pure horror rested on her face.

As he watched the borders of his form grow tattered and shred away, he quickly sunk into Larai's shadow for refuge. "s**t..." he cursed under his breath, his voice sounding hollow from his dark realm.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Daemon? W-where are you?" Larai asked softly, confused and horribly worried as to what was going on.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Down here..." Larai's shadow now looked like Daemon's as he scratched the back of his head, the shadow making the proper movements as if he was really standing there.

{Hey Zelly, if you don't mind my being a brainless douche and asking, could you please help me with something?}

Larai squatted down to examine the shadow more closely, as if she might see Daemon inside. Instead, all she saw was his shape - his actions. "What's going on, Daemon? Why did this just happen?"

((Sure, what's up?))

Daemon sighed, the shadow putting its hands in its pockets. "I told you, didn't I? I'm not technically a full demon, just a living mass of shadows with a mind of its own, living off of whatever I happen to be possessing at the time." he looked away, feeling rather pathetic that he was really nothing more than a parasite. "When I possessed Milly's child long before it was born, I started feeding off of her magical energy, and now that she's dead, I'm completely cut off from the source...It might not be too much of a problem otherwise, but I've become a part of this body now, and it's become a part of me. It's become just as dependent on such energy as I am, and without it any physical form I try to take on will just dissolve away completely."
