The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera shrugged and smirked. "They rarely mess with me more than once." She said with a laugh that bordered on evil. Stripping off her black outfit and gold charms, she slipped into the water. She swam easily, enjoying the cool water. When Akila surfaced again, she asked, "I thought cats didn't like water?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila shook out her hair, "It's an oddity isn't it?" she shrugged and dipped her hair back in the water. "Actually, I love the water...just not when it's cold." She practically hissed at the thought of it. "Like windy rain! Eugh!" The fur around her ears bristled.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera laughed and shook her head. "You're one weird girl." She said playfully, reaching out to pet Akila's ears in hopes of soothing her. Here, away from everyone else, the Seer could be herself. No act to put on, hiding her feelings behind a mask. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila couldn't help but purr when her ears were touched. "Ooooh, that's nice." She practically melted. It'd been such a very long time since her ears had been anything but yanked or cut.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera chuckled and shifted, standing up in the hip deep water. She continued scratching Akila's ears softly, watching the other girl. Partly it was in amusement and partly it was to make sure the girl didn't forget to swim and cause herself to drown. "Feels nice doesn't it? It's certainly a unique feeling." The Seer spoke as if she knew the feeling personally. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila sunk down in the water, to about her shoulders, and sighed, "Y-ya." She shuttered, and her eyelids drooped.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Careful. Wouldn't want to try and explain to people that you drowned yourself." Aleera said lightly, moving closer to Akila. She rested a hand lightly on the girl's shoulders in case she sunk any farther down. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I won't drown, just don't...stop." She continued to purr, and rolled her shoulders.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "If you're sure." Aleera said tolerantly. She continued petting the girl's ears softly, not minding. She deserved something nice, after all she'd been through. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"y-y-ya." Akila shivered in delight, and sighed again, "That is VERY nice." She purred, and her tail flicked up out of the water, happily. Her scars, now visible in the water, made her look exotic. Almost like a tiger.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Aleera just smiled, shaking her head. "Hang on a sec." She said and drifted away from Akila, swimming to shore. She dug in her bag, pulling out a thing of shampoo and pouring a bunch in her hand. She swam back to the girl. Using the same soft motions as petting her ears, she began working the soap into her short blue hair. The tiger that should be....isn't....

A new scent hit Akila's nose, and she sniffed repeatedly, before decided she was perfectly content with how things were att the moment, and in a moment of shyness, and modesty, she turned to Aleera with wide innocent eyes and said, :Thank you...for everything." This whole, being treated nicely thing, it just....she wanted to cry it made her so happy...but she hadn't cried since her arm was broken, and before that, her first week of slavery. It wasn't something that came easy to her. So these pent up emotions took her off guard.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "It's fine kitten." Aleera reassured her. "I like to be able to make up for the way I have to act sometimes." She looked disgusted. "Some days I hate myself, treating people like that." She admitted quietly. Doing things like this was one way to cleanse herself of the guilt she felt for the things she'd done to the girl. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila didn't care. She knew that sometimes she HAD to act that way...or at least she knew now that she was part of the rebellion. "It's all for the greater good, right?...It's a moral sacrifice."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I know that." Aleera said quietly. "But some days it's harder to remember than others." She was quiet for a moment then added in a whisper. "I'm just afraid I'll wake up one day and realize I'm not acting. That I've truly become like that." The tiger that should be....isn't....
