{Yeah. XD}
"It certainly got creepier while we were away." Larai muttured, noticing just how darker and more worn out the mansion now looked.

"Well, Milly had an odd taste in decor, and no one around to tidy things up isn't doing the place any favors."

Larai began to roam the hallways, taking careful steps as she explored the place. Before long she opened a door to an empty, dark, and ominous room. Oh, did I say empty? I meant to say empty except for the bloody writing on the walls and the skeleton in the middle of the room - whom, of course, had a rather large and painful looking blade lodged in it's chest. Whether or not this was Milly or just some unfortunate victem had yet to be deciphered. On the walls and some parts of the floor surrounding the skeleton, one phrase was written over and over again. 'I'm gone. Are you happy now?'

Daemon's whole shadow shuddered before he slowly sank back into a pool by Larai's feet in guilt. It hurt just looking at all the writing.

Larai looked horrified to say the least. "Holy nine Hells what is all of this?!" she exclaimed, despite already knowing the answer.

"I knew it, I shouldn't have just left like I did...." Daemon said softly. "I should have at least tried to do something for her in return..."

{Wouldn't it be a complete and total ******** if Milly wasn't actually dead, but cut the magical bonds(and passed on the 'family duty' by request to the devil himself) and set up this whole Xantanos Gambit just as a form of an unusual piece of vengeance as well as an attempt at epic trolling?}
"Daemon..." Larai sighed softly, not sure as to what she could say to make this situation any less upsetting or uncomfortable.

"There's obviously nothing else in here, let's look somewhere else..." Daemon said quickly changing the subject.

Larai sighed softly, turning about and leaving the room - lest the mood get any drearier. "Daemon, are you okay?"

((I almost forgot; Milly the troll? I love it. >XD ))
"No...She killed herself thinking I hated her..." Daemon said, voice filled with guilt. "I wanted to try and making things right, but she really made it seem like I could only pick one. It was between her and you; I chose you."

Larai honestly did not know what to say. Milly wanted her out of the picture, but Daemon...refused? She wished she could comfort him, but knew very well that her arms would just pass right through the shadows if she attempted to embrace him. "Daemon, I love you very much. She did too, but she was obsessed. Things would have ended badly no matter what."

"I know, and I wish I could have helped her....She shouldn't have died alone like this, much less committed suicide."

((So I saw this thing on tv least not that actually posed the question 'was Osama Bin Laden just going through a mid-life crisis?' My brain then shut down and I face/palmed hard))
"Hopefully we find something soon, I don't want to stick around here any longer than I have to..." he muttered.

{*Epic Facepalm* How is 911 just the product of a ******** midlife crisis?}
Larai nodded in understanding. She went through the next door, seeing nothing of real interest - aside from more writing on the walls. Again, all they said were, 'Alone'.
