His grip around her loosened slightly and sighed in small relief. "You're right, she's just acting like this because she hates me, because I was a horrible father to her. I don't know what else I can do for her though..."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I don't think she hates you as much as she claims. If she did, she wouldn't be trying to get this much attention from you. She also would've have added that last tiny bit under the bitter words she put up." Larai tried to assure Daemon with a warm smile, glad that she might be helping at least somewhat.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"And I want to make things right, I really do, but I just can't do that if I have to give you up." Daemon said hugging her a little tighter again.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Then tell her next time that you see her that you'll make things right, but you won't be giving me up in the process. If she can't live with that, then tough s**t for her." Larai replied, her tone soft and understanding. "You should not have to comprise everything for her if she's not willing to do the same."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"It's more like I couldn't bear to give you up, no matter the consequences." Daemon said with a soft smile before offering her a tender kiss.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai gladly kissed him in turn, her cheeks lighting up to a light pink having heard what Daemon said. Once their lips did part, Larai muttured with a lovestruck look about her, "I feel the same way. I love you."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I love you too." Daemon said softly. "I'm sure we'll find something to get me out of here." he said with a small smile before letting her leave his dark world into their cave and home.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"We will, I promise." Larai said with a soft smile, going on to lay atop her bed after removing her shoes, just gazing up at the cavern 'ceiling' as she layed there.

"So now what? I somehow doubt that angel has anything we can use. He doesn't strike me as the sort that would collect magical items." Daemon said, his silhouette stretched out next to her on her bed with his hands folded behind his head.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"We can ask mom and dad if they have anything of use." Larai replied, really not knowing what else to do. After all, it's not like magical artifacts were very common anymore.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Let's just hope they're feeling generous enough to help me out." Daemon said rolling over and resting the shadow of his arm across her stomach.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"If they're not too willing to help out, I'll point out that it'll be pretty damn difficult to get you to help with the baby once it's born if they don't." Larai replied with a small shrug. "If they refuse to help then, well, I'll see if Kai's stolen anything recently that he's willing to trade for." After saying this, of course, she realised that she had yet to tell Kai of her pregnancy. Part of her wondered if she really should just yet, or if it'd only serve to get Kai even angrier at Daemon than he currently was.

"Sorry you had to fall for the one guy your family has a grudge against." Daemon said with a small chuckle.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Don't be. It's my love life, and they have absolutely no say in who I will be with." Larai said, smiling a little bit once more. "I love you, and there's not a damn thing they can do to make me feel otherwise."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I'm certainly not complaining. I've got a beautiful girl all to myself." Daemon said with an invisible smile.
