Romy stepped onto the street, locking the door behind Rui. His eyes went wide when she called him a "bad boy" a blush creeping up again. He looked down at his feet, a nervous smile on his lips. "R-Romy works fine, actually, Miss Rui." He looked up at her, bright blue eyes showing his secret joy in actually talking to a girl. He had never actually done that before! When asked where he wanted to go, the boy shrugged, then blushed horribly when she called him pretty. "I... erm... I don't care? A-as long as you're happy, I will be too... A-and I have money, so I-I can pay for... whatever." He couldn't believe it. The first girl to actually talk to him and he sounds like a total idiot. He ran a hair through his pale brown hair, glancing sidelong at the girl beside him.

✖✖✖✖Rui giggled as the boy blushed some more and smirked when he called her Miss Rui. She grabbed his hand again and looked up and down the street, trying to find some place interesting to go. "Hmm...." She hummed to herself. She smiled and tickled Romy's side playfully. "Up to you pretty boy." She cooed. She hadn't a care where they ended up, as long as she got to toy with him for a little bit. His statement of her being happy would make him happy made her crack up inside her own head though. 'Me be happy? Best joke I've heard all day.' 'You know you could be happy Rui. Just tell me to go and I'm gone. Then you'd be happy.' 'I will never tell you to go Ryn. I won't lose you. Not again. With you gone... I'd probably be even worse anyways.'

Romy gasped in surprise when Rui held his hand. He squeaked a bit when she tickled him, unused to the weird sensation. "Please don't do that," he said, eyes wide as he looked at her. He ran a hand nervously through his hair, messing it from it's usual perfection. He bit nervously at his bottom lip, braces shining a bit. Ever since he had moved into the Hawthorn home, the spells his father had on him dropped. No more magical perfection, so he had to resort to muggle methods. Once he discovered that Remy had worn them, he was more than willing to get them himself. He looked back to Rui, smiling a bit. "We could go... to the ice cream shop? I can buy you a nice treat?"

✖✖✖✖ Rui smirked. So he didn't like being tickled eh? A laugh rang out in her head. That would be a fun little experiment to play sometime. She twirled a piece of hair with her free hand and led the way towards the ice cream shop. "Ice cream it is pretty boy." She noticed his braces with golden eyes and smirked. More and more ideas spun in her head, getting worse and worse as they came.

Romy smiled and walked alongside Rui, smiling like a fool. He didn't have a clue how to counter "pretty boy," since he wasn't used to any sort of romance, so he said something Nicolas seemed to say a lot to his wife. "Of course, beautiful," he said, trying to sound some sort of romantic. He held open the door to the ice cream shop, allowing her to enter before him, as was polite.

Romy walked out of the shop, embarrassed and heartbroken. He had barely known the girl, but she seemed to genuinely like him! He kicked a pebble away, since he was watching the ground anyway. He sat on a bench and pulled his glasses off, throwing them in his lap so he could bury his face in his hands. He wanted to scream, give up, do something, but instead was a miserable lump. He figured he deserved what he got, since he had done things he knew were against the rules. He whimpered silently, letting his tears run down his cheeks and wrists.

Alaric walked out onto the street, a little ahead of Tobi. Looking at the signs, he tried to find the candy shop. His eyes landed on a boy that was sitting with his head in his hands. Getting closer, Alaric started to recognize the kid. It looked like...Romy.
Alaric sat down next to the other boy and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Hey Romy, what's wrong?" The words weren't masterful, but Alaric was awkward when it came to consoling. He didn't want to embarrass the boy, but it was better to see if he was okay than leave him there.

Romy looked up when someone touched him. Whomever it was appeared very blurry to the thirteen year old. Romulus put his glasses back on, looking up to see Alaric. When asked what was wrong, the boy simply shrugged. "Y-you don't ca-care." Romy felt that way a lot lately, about everyone. It was impossible that anyone could ever really care, particularly about him. He was just a screwed up abuse victim with nowhere to turn.

"Of course I care Romy. If I didn't I wouldn't be here right now." Not knowing what else to do, Alaric slowly brought Romy into a hug. He figured he would regret it later, but it seemed comforting enough. Hopefully it didn't confuse the the other Gryffindor.

Romy sighed when Alaric said "Of course I care" didn't everyone say that? Of course... like it had to be pointed out to him. When he was pulled into a hug by the other boy, his eyes went huge. All of his muscles tensed and he even stopped breathing as a deep blush slowly filled his cheeks. After a second, he awkwardly pulled away. That couldn't possibly have been any weirder. Alaric questioned why Romulus was upset, thinking it was someone being mean. "N-no... nothing like that... Just... girl troubles? I think?" He didn't want to get anyone in trouble, since it really wasn't in his nature. After a minute, he looked back to Alaric, hoping that he wouldn't receive another hug.

Tobi followed Al out to the streets of Diagon Alley and was looking around energetically for the candy store when the older boy walked away towards another boy sitting on a bench clearly upset. He followed over to him and listened with only half an ear (trying not to be too nosy) as the blonde boy tried to explain what happened to him. Girl troubles? Ugh, he felt for the poor guy. "I say you jus' forget about her. She obviously wasn't worth it if she made ya this upset." Tobi stated matter-of-factly.

Romy looked to see the Hufflepuff's newest beater join them. Blue eyes stared evenly at the boy. leveling him with a gaze. He turned to look back at Alaric, the other boy wanting to know what else happened. "I-I really don't know. She was flirting, I think, and I believed every word outta her mouth. Then she caught sight of someone better than me, someone with a girlfriend, mind, and played me out to be a creep. I-I wasn't stalking her, though... she just... lied." He looked away in shame as he recounted his story. It made him seem a bit crazy, didn't it? What person would believe him, when she gave her tale? He would always be the center of disbelief, and it made him a bit sad.
