"Y'know, we'll never leave here for long if you're going to tell me that." Larai replied in a half-joking manner, with a chuckle to go along with it.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I'm sure we'll have some excuse to go back." Daemon said with a smile. "There isn't any scenery for one thing, much less any food or comfortable beds." he half joked.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"If it'd work, I'd suggest bringing some here, but that'd be a bit much wouldn't it?" Larai asked, joking back.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Probably. But I do appreciate the thought." Daemon said with a smile.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai smiled back, offering Daemon one more peck on the cheek. "If you need my help with anything, don't feel afraid to ask, okay?"

"I know." Daemon said giving her a small peck in return. "Calm enough to go back now?"

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai sighed softly. "I guess I am." she replied, clearly hesitant to leave.

"Remember, just say the word, and I'll pull you right back into my arms." he assured her, giving her one last tight hug before letting her leave.

"I will, I promise." Larai uttured with a grin as she left their shadowy world.

((This is why I hate my dad. My birthday's on friday and we had some pretty good plans, but then my dad tried to buy a groupon that he didn't realize had a minimum charge of $150, so he has to go and throw an overblown hissy fit trying to cancel the thing, culminating in, as always, him saying 'I'm not going to help a business that does blah blah blah' and so now instead of pizza/pasta for dinner it's 'anyone that wants to join us can meet us at Johnny Rocket's'. He always seems to pull crap like this on special days for me!))

"You just need to stay positive." Daemon said, nothing but a shadow on the wall once more. "Maybe finding something usable will be difficult if not hell, but I can't believe there's not a single item out there for me to feed off instead."

{Wait...what? Pardon my saying, but you just don't do that sort of thing for your daughter's birthday. It's cheap and it's uncalled for. Seccond, birthdays - the good ones at least - always cost money. He should've looked into the price beforehand instead of promising it only to cancel later and b***h about the cost. I swear, I'd be really pissy if my parents tried that number on me.}

"I know, and I'll keep looking. Still, it's kind of hard to tear myself from our moments." Larai replied with a broad smile, continuing to look over the doors.

((It's also his own fault for not reading the fine print. And he's a lawyer.

This isn't the first time he's done something like this. We were looking around for a place to eat for my graduation dinner and we didn't go to the place I wanted because he didn't want to sit outside. On a beautiful day. In June. Once again, burgers from Johnny Rocket's.))

"I understand, but just think how many more moments we can have when I'm stuck in a world of eternal darkness." he pointed out.

{For your graduation?? I can see easilly why you'd be pissed. Fast food is one thing, but it's not a quick solution to every special occassion ever. It's a cheap excuse to not spend more money on a more touching gift. That, plus, aren't lawyers supposed to live and bleed fine print? ...No offence meant, of course, but you get the intended meaning I hope.}

"True. I'll get you out of there yet, I promise." Larai then approached the next door, only to see exactly what she had been looking for. 'Magical Artifacts From Years Gone By'.
