"Chances are, this is probably mislabled. I can't imagine Marianne was stupid enough to lable the rooms correctly that she actually didn't want intruders venturing near." Larai replied, not very convinced that this room would contain what they were looking for. "Still, we can check inside just in case if you'd like."

"Only one way to find out." Daemon said with a shrug.

Larai slipped in, only to discover rusty metal spikes everywhere. Had this been working, it would have been a ghastly death trap. Now, it was nothing more than rust and old bloody metal sculpting. "Knew it. Death trap." she said with a sigh, slipping out of the room without a seccond thought.

"I should have known...." Daemon said with a disappointed sigh.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"There are still plenty of chambers to try, Daemon, don't worry!" Larai assured Daemon, going on to the next door. "Y'know, it'd be pretty funny if she intentionally mislabled the room with enchanted artifacts to something we'd find unpleasant, just as a sort of defence against thieves."

"It wouldn't surprise me if she did, after the magical item room was a giant death trap."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Maybe it was that chamberpot one? Or maybe that actually was a chamberpot."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Let's keep looking....If we don't find it, then we can check the chamberpot...."

Larai continued searching onward. Several doors they found were mislabled, nine times out of ten looking to be something pleasant while really just more gruesome deathtraps. The one that wasn't a deathtrap was the kitchen, and even then, it might as well have been.

"It occurs to me that I can't recall ever seeing you cook. Are you as bad as I've heard your mother is?" Daemon asked curiously, half teasing.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I may not be perfect at it, but I am nowhere near as bad as mom is at cooking." Larai replied with a snicker. "Seriously, my cooking doesn't come to life and try to eat you."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I doubt I'm any better. Pampered or tortured, I never really did any cooking of my own." Daemon said with a chuckle.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I guess that's something we have in common. We don't cook." Larai replied with much amusement, going on to slink over to the next few doors. Again, none of which held anything of true interest.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I know I've only been down here once or twice, but I never realized this place was so big." Daemon commented. It felt like it had been hours since they came down here.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"We've still got a long ways to go. If you want, we could take a break for now. Or I can just keep searching." Larai replied with a small smile. It had indeed been hours since they first arrived. Marianne's place was enormous, to say the least.
