"Fair enough." Jian replied, following him. He stopped when he spotted a door with Lianne's name on it. Jian gently knocked on the door when a female doctor opened it up. Seeing Lianne on the door behind him, Jian looked at the confused doctor. "How is the Priestess? Is she doing alright?"
"Yes. She just needs to wear a temporary leg brace for a few days." The doctor replied, blocking the door way.
"Can we see her?" Jian asked. The lady doctor turned to look at Lianne.
"It's alright." Lianne replied.
The doctor gave a small nod and opened the door up to let Damien and Jian in. The captain of the guard was leaning against the wall with a frown when Damien and Jian came in, obviously not wanting to see them but obviously not going to say anything when Lianne allowed it.

"How are you feeling now?" Damien asked Lianne as they entered the room. He hoped she was recovering well.

"I'm fine. I'm able to walk, but I won't be able to run or dance for a week..." She sighed.
"That's a shame." Jian replied.

"Well, I guess you'll have to hold off on your religious ceremonies for a bit. At least you're doing well, all things considered" Damien said, trying to make Lianne feel better.

"Yes..." She replied with a sigh. "But so many have..." She stopped, looking down. "I hope that no one else will get hurt during the duration of the storm."

"What will you do after?" Jian asked.
Lianne looked to the ground, then turned to Jian. "Despite everything that has happened, I still have a job to do. I have people who need me and countries to attend to. If... if I remember right, I'll be traveling to the other continent in a week to take care of some important business before returning here." She replied.
"You should take a break. It's not good to overwork yourself." Jian replied.
"... ... ... I can't do that." She replied.
"I think the Priestess is very, very tired. She had a long day." The captain finally spoke out as if implying that they should leave.

"Well, don't strain yourself. Take it easy" Damien said. "I suppose we should leave you to rest, unless there's anything else you wanted"

"Oh, no. Thank you very much for all your trouble. And I'm sorry for all the pain these unexpected events may have caused you." She replied.
Jian said nothing. It hurt him to hear her talk so selflessly like that despite her own pain, and he was certain Damien felt something similar.

Damien shrugged. "Don't blame yourself. You didn't cause the storm or hire the assassins. You just rest up for your future events" he said. He bid her goodbye and then walked out of the room.

Shadow finally got to leave her room and stretched. The wound was patched up for the most part and she had mostly healed already. She looked out the windows to the sunny sky, and looked as most of the world leaders were leaving. 'Talk about traffic.' She thought, a little surprised not to see Damien or Jian. Then again, Damien said he would see her before they left. She continued to wonder down the halls, waiting for everything to clear up.
