The piercing cries of the flashbang and the blinding light caught Lin off guard - only giving him enough time to press the "Main Intercom" button on the headset he wore before he was tackled to the ground.
"L... let go of me!" Lin scowled, although unable to see, as he struggled under Saverio.
The Intercoms all over the building blared the sound of the flashbang and Lin's struggles - although in a much safer-to-hear volume.

Saverio saw he was stunned and took the chance to give him a right hook to the face and started slamming his hand on the floor so he would let go of the gun. He hoped to at least break his hand.

Already distracted by the incessant banging that echoed from the elevator shaft, Slim was caught completely off-guard by the Flashbang. For a few seconds which she could never afford, especially at that moment, she doubled over and clutched her head, trying to keep herself from reeling at the awful sound that was still ringing in her ears.

Arcanas heard what seemed to him a large explosion, and the residual shaking of the elevator shaft almost made him lose his position in the shaft.
"Oh shi-"
His blade, Alondite, had snagged on one of the shaft's intercom cables. The shock of the catch however, made him drop his other blade, Ragnell down the shaft. Alondite, however was also slipping from it's niche, and upon noticing this, Arcanas attempted to grab hold with his free hand.

((You know what? Forget this, I'm going to be lazy. Yay for being able to poof))
Finding herself next to Slim downstairs, Celes had already covered her ears, the noise was still lingering some, and she had heard just a muffled version of it from her previous position. Looking over at Slim, she seemed to be questioning what exactly was going on as she didn't quite know. Lack of sleep didn't do her any good.

"Aaagh!" He cried as his hand kept being slammed into the floor. "What the hell are you doing!?" He said as he rolled around frantically and moved Saverio off of him. He quickly stood and withdrew his gun from his holster once more. He couldn't see, however, even if his vision was slowly returning.
(( Hehheh... I put my gun in the holster remember? ))

Saverio has confused hiself with the blast and got reorented. He wasted time he had so little of it. Know his hearing was still s**t he did the best thing he could. He jump forward to tackle lin again. He needed a fire arm to get away, or a folding chair.

Recovering from shock, Slim hastily removed a security baton from the seemingly endless contents of her briefcase. Having no time to explain the situation to Celes, who had suddenly appeared beside her ((which is actually an average occurrance at UndaCorp xd )), she sprinted forward and aimed a blow at Saverio's head while he was still recovering from Lin's struggle. Vision impaired, she only managed to get a good hit to his left shoulder.

"Great...Ragnell's not gonna like me much after this..."
After taking a deep breath, and some much embarassing dangling, Arcanas had finally grabbed hold of the wire, in which Alondite was caught. After slowly freeing his last blade, he re-sheathes it, and grabs on with both hands now.
"Ok...to fall, or not to fall..."
He glances down and notices that he's blarely glised down 3 floors

Saverio took a baton to the shoulder and fell over. He looked up and saw she was still out of it. He decided that he was stuck in a rock and a hard place so he did what any awesome man would do. He took off his shoes and threw one at lin and one at slim and as he ran at lin. "No gun for you!"

Lin fired a volley of shots - missing each time - as he heard Saverio coming for him. A hit at the face momentarily stopped his shooting for his gun dropped in surprise.

"Hrm...this might be a tad difficult."
Arcanas scoured the shaft for something that would be of use. Sighting a similar cable, he had what he thought was a genious idea.
"Well, better than nothing..."
He takes a deep breath, and pushes off the wall with his feet, and hopes that he makes it towards the cable.

Noting that she seemed to be the only one with both full hearing and vision, it didn't take long for Celes to figure things out.
"Intruders, is it? Hmm.. fun." she decided, pulling a couple throwing daggers from her back pocket. Running up behind Saverio she decided not to attack just then but rather try and stop him from getting the gun out of Lin's reach. It wouldn't do well for Lin to be without a gun.

His vision was slowly returning, although a piercing ring was still in his ears. He moved to a more defensive stance and readied himself from an attack from Sav. He wasn't worried about the gun; one can't always rely on a weapon, after all.
Meanwhile, Arcanas successfully grasped the elevator cable. The cable grasped was the main support cable of the elevator - strong enough to hold the elevator and its occupants.

Slim's vision had returned enough to see the shoe coming, but she couldn't move fast enough to stop it from catching the forearm of her free arm.
"Ouch," she muttered before leaping back into the fray and landing a blow to Saverio's back, which was broad enough to provide a clean hit to the spine, even with the slightly faulty sight.
