While Starlight and Moon were trekking along the forest near a comfortable place called Kawani Village, they spotted something unusual placed next to a bush. It was a man-made object; it did not come from mother nature. As the two neared it, they were surprised to find out that it resembled a simple basket, mahogany in color with a dark ruby encrusted in the middle, a black rope, and black dreamcatcher with another dark ruby bead strung along the center of its multiple strings, holding two small white feathers dipped in black ink. Starlight approached the basket with caution, wondering if it was meant to be a trap for a careless animal. Moon called Starlight to step back, for if harm befell her, she would be the one to blame for it. Starlight, being her usual self, did not listen to the advice Moon offered, and picked up the basket regardless of her constant calls.
Pureblooded Tersk - Breed is noted for its endurance, energy, and boldness, and usually stands 15 hands high.
Temper
Aloof -- Couscous tends to keep to himself lately, due to previous experiences in his life that caused this personality change to emerge. He enjoys spending time alone in quiet contemplativeness, and he does not speak much unless he feels like he needs to. It takes other soquili quite a long time to warm up to Couscous now, as he generally does not start a conversation unless another does so with him. At moments, Couscous can act quite warm and friendly -- if he could just stop thinking too deeply about the past...
Before, Couscous used to be meek -- it was easy to get him to agree on something, whereas nowadays, it is hard enough to get a conversation going on with him. Couscous often used to take strolls around wherever place he was at in the past, taking his time to enjoy the scenery and sniff the flowers. When confronting new soquili, he used to give them a shy smile; nowadays, a solemn expression remains for any occasion. Couscous used to find the positive in everything, and appreciated life for what it was.

A faint, spectral light was spotted amongst the darkness one late night near Starlight and Moon's teepee. The two were ready to fall asleep to the sounds of the lulling night air, but the noise of a branch crunching in the distance bewildered them. Moon got out to inspect it, ignoring Starlight's words that it was probably the wind. Moon as astonished to find a bright silver light flashing through the various trees, especially when it suddenly came closer and closer to her until she discovered what it truly was.
Pureblooded Wind/Silver Fox - Exceptionally rare, and elusive nature most likely aided by its naturally shy, quiet temper.
Temper
Coy -- Kasumi is a quiet soquili, never feeling the need to utter a word unless necessary. She is extremely kind-hearted and accepting of others, which makes her very popular amongst friends. Though Kasumi is not afraid to stand her ground whenever there is trouble around, or whenever something opposes her morals, she is rarely seen as the center of attention as she does not enjoy getting into situations like that. She is rarely seen distressed, and her positive energy is sometimes even contagious.

Lastborn foal of Stormwild and Couscous. As a basket, she was handed to the owners of Couscous along with her sister. However, her brother was given to the owner of Stormwild. After that, their parents did not see much of each other, until one day Stormwild left Couscous for another. Because of Stormwild's disloyalty to Couscous, Rei suffers from a paranoia that most everyone around her cannot be trusted. She does not wish to go through the same thing her father did, and so somewhat reformed her own life and the lives of others around her (especially her family, friends) so that her own loyalty will never be betrayed.
Halfblooded Wind/Tribal & Tersk - Comes from a proud, wind soquili mother whom was tribal and received tribal markings and most of coat colors from (but not wings), and a tersk father.
Temper
Aggressive -- Rei, a fairly similar mimic of her mother, also gained a part of her personality as well, somewhat. Rei is loyal to those she trusts (which is quite hard to achieve), and will go to any ends to protect them. She may seem mean or distant to others, but that is only because they have not gained Rei's trust. She has firm beliefs that she will stand up for through and through.

Pelt covered with mostly black with a healthy sheen; light dust brown hooves; right eye brown, left eye purple; white "socks" on two forelegs; silvery tips at very base of two forelegs; whitened muzzle; intricate white glowing tribal markings below her two eyes, around the lower part of her neck, and on both hindquarters; same type of tribal marking in black on the lower part of both forelegs; dusty, almost gray-like brown mane and tail with lighter, off-white patches here and there

Comes from the mating of two soquili, Stormwild and Couscous. Since Maize was born first of her siblings and put into a basket, she was handed off along with her sister, Rei, to the original owners of Couscous. Her brother, however, was given to the owner of Stormwild. The owners and soquili, it seems, parted their ways for a while, and now they lead lives separate from each other -- so separate, that Maize's mother's relationship with her father was severed so drastically that her mother has a new mate, which led to the development of the complex Maize currently has.
Halfblooded Wind/Tribal & Tersk - Comes from a proud, wind soquili mother whom was tribal, and a tersk father whom passed on mainly his coat and endurance traits.
Temper
Staid -- Maize takes things calmly; she handles things one by one. Even through troubled times, she takes things with ease. Because of this, she is often sought after for help or advice by others. However, her serious and sometimes dry disposition on things makes other soquili unable to become close with her. Although she is generally laid back in attitude, Maize has some insecurities stemming from her father and her father's past. When Maize knows that she is alone, she finds the closest water source to see her reflection, and sometimes weeps without evident reason. The development of this complex stems from the loss of her biogenetic mother, and how she never had a real family, being taken care of by only one parent her whole life.

Pure, bright, and dazzling figure was spotted through a thin window through the forest's trees. Moon thought she had saw a reflection of the moon itself, and both figures stood separately, still, staring at the other. And, after a simple blink of the eye, the elusive figure vanished, and Moon was left standing there; little did she know more sightings could be coming, until at last the other had welcomed her to its life.
Pureblooded Unicorn - Born of an elusive breed, the beautiful, alluring unicorn gains much of her appearance and personality from stereotypical values associated with her race.
Temper
Naive -- Amalthea, like other unicorns meeting the status quo of their race, acts quite vain at times and shows impatience for the insignificant. Her natural aura attracts others to her easily, so she often finds attention when it is not wanted. Solitude is often preferred with Amalthea, though she will remain deeply loyal and indebted to those she is close with. Kindness is taken graciously, and given back without hassle--unless it is detrimental to her own well-being.
Though Amalthea is brave when tested, she can easily get herself into something towards no end. Her sensitive and soft-spoken nature lets others see it as a weakness to manipulate. Vague words plague Amalthea, as she sometimes does not know what she is speaking of, either. Her fantasy-esque attitude promotes her lacking of focus. It is hard for her to confide in others, let alone make friends.

A lone soul was born into a forest that knew of its potential. The forest then became somewhat of a guardian to the soquili, sheltering him until he grew and was able to fend for himself. It just so happened that he came upon a clearing with unnatural things that he had never seen before, and a creature that walked on two legs came out. Both were startled, but then realized soon after that life became better after the meeting.
Pureblooded Uni/Timber Wolf - Has healing properties from uni heritage, and instinctive, survival abilities of wolf--can smell, hear, and spot things more easily than others, and can gallop faster.
Temper
Debonaire -- Preferring sophistication over crudeness, Kalimirchi finds it easy taking life with grace, and whether it is leading conversations or offering calm replies, most find him very likable to be around. Though it may seem otherwise, Kalimirchi prefers spending time alone, just like he did when he was younger.
Description
Body like that of a timber wolf's pelt, though he is paler and less brown than most; ice blue eyes; long uni tail continues the wolf-like pelt and ends in black tips; pale gold hooves; silver horn; black nose; pale pink ear insides; black tipped ears; white and gray-streaked hair.

Kalimirchi is a free spirit, bound to no herd... as of yet, that is.

The first in a series of kids blossomed from the well-made match between Kasumi and Orchu stayed with the mother. Most likely due to being the first in his brood, Roka was babied quite a bit when younger, despite his attempts to throw his mother off, though he respects and carries deep affection for her. Roka became a rebel to normal social conventions while growing up.
Pureblooded Wind & Silver Fox/Tribal Orca - From two proud albeit silent wind parents who gave him a perfect mix of both coats, though some divergent personality seemed to have taken over.
Temper
Insouciant -- Preferring the company of nature over other soquili like himself, Roka has earned quite a strange reputation amongst his family and what little friends he made (or actually, what "friends" he came across that followed him despite his wishes otherwise). Little do others know that he has no care in the world for such trivial things; he has achieved his own metaphorical bond with what he claims is the best friend anyone could have--nature. If something good happens to him, he minds not; if something bad happens to him, he feels the same way. The rush of wind he gets when he runs across the fields gives him a high feeling of positive carelessness. His lack of worry or concern for things, however, might correspond to a lack of responsibility.

"Out of the blue"

Down by the river, somewhere not far off from her teepee, Starlight had been searching for some fruits and flowers to bring home for her soquili and Moon. While she was crouching right beside the riverside, a leaf drifted down from a tree and landed on her head, startling her. She fell into the river, and, because she surprise of the leaf was unexpected, took in some water in her lungs. As she sputtered out water, groping blindedly for the edge of land and safety, she heard something near her, but she couldn't tell what it was. The next thing she knew, her legs were touching the ground, and the water that had filled her lungs were now replaced with clean, normal air. As she opened her eyes, she saw a reddish brown winged soquili mare in front of her -- except she wasn't just winged. The soquili mare had a unicorn horn as well. Fascinated with the kind, special soquili, she treated the mare with respect and gratitude. When Starlight got back to her teepee, she found that the mare had followed her, and since then, they have been close companions.
Pureblooded Ali & Tribal - Sports a unicorn horn and a pair of wings, and has few tribal markings on body. As neither the mother or father is known to be winged or uni, an assumption of "pureblooded ali" is made.
