Blood and Part Tavern

Luna nodded. "It's a note addressed to you." she said, holding out the note

Temorichi shouts out goodbye, hearing that Jake is leaving. She sighs, twidling one of the pencils she has, then turns on her computer. She starts checking her e-mail.

Jake opened the note and read.

Dear Jake Love,
I am the burglar that killed your parent(s). Your 'dear mother' is still alive. Go behind the Blood and Part Tavern at 10:00 PM the day you get this note. You'll know where it is, so go.

"Oh...Oh my God... My moms alive? And its 9:57! Thanks Luna, Bye," and Jake ran behind the tavern. The man was there early.
"Where is my mother??" Jake asked as he grabbed the burglars shirt.
"Ha ha ha, you wont get it out of me!" he said.
"Tell me!!!" and Jake pulled out a hand and turned it fox-like so he had claws. "Or else your face will be impaled."
"Never!"
Jake scratched the mans cheek slowly.
"Ahh! I'll tell you! She lives a mile south of here, if you don't find her, you can kill me!"
"Ok!" Jake said, and pushed the man down.

"Your...welcome..." Luna said.

Jake ran to where the man said to go. He knocked on the door.
"He- Hello?" a woman of 40 years said. "Can I help you?"
"Does anyone here have the last name 'Love'?" Jake asked.
"Me, but my mom died when I was five...Same as my father..." She replied.
"Wait a minute. Was your brothers name 'Jake'?"
"Uhm...Yes." she replied.
"Janelle?" Jake asked.
"*Gasp* Jake!" Janelle said. They hugged.
"Come with me Janelle."
They walked to the tavern.
"Luna, no luck with my mom. But I found my sister, Janelle." Jake said. "I'll hunt that burglar down later."

Luna smiled and bowed to Janelle. "Nice to meet you, I'm Luna."

"Hello Luna." Janelle said.
"I'll be right back everybody. I have some unfinished buisiness to attend to." Jake said. He ran, and followed some dirt tracks behind the tavern, to find a man cackling at a desk. "Your time is out, you crazy old man. My mothers not alive, and you won't be."
"Oh uhm...Uh oh." the man said. "You don't have the guts! And if you did, you'd be too guilty about your mother!"
The words hit Jake boldly.
"You just said the wrong pairing of words!" and Jaked grabbed him by the shirt and threw him off a high bridge with cement bricks on his feet.

*Back at the tavern*

"I might've been cruel to the man, but he deserved it." Jake said. "I really have to go. Bye everybody. Janelle, would you want to go to my house?
"Sure" Janelle said.

Luna nodded. "Have a safe trip,"

Temorichi walks out of her office, rubbing her eyes. She has red marks on where she laid her head on her arms. "Lu-luna.....what happened?......Is it closing time?"

Luna glanced at her watch. "It's about time,"

Temorichi yawns. "I heard Jakes' voice. What is he doing back? Is some thing wrong?" She scratches her head. "I heard some one elses voice, it sounded alittle bit like Jakes'..."

"It was his sister, Janelle. Well, I'll be going home now." Luna said with yawn

Temorichi nods. "Then go home...you look tired..."

Luna bowed. "Thank you," she said, walking out the door.

Temorichi smiles. "You know you can leave when you want to, Luna."
