Kalstolyn ^^Psycha^^ [ Terra ] I've not liked Amazon's approach to ebooks and ereaders. Starting with the fact that the Kindle doesn't support the international standard ebook format. You should shop around a bit before deciding for certain on the Kindle. Why dont you buy an iPad? I don't know about Terra, but for me an iPad is out of the question for a number of reasons. 1. it's from Apple (shudder). 2. it's backlit, which makes it impractical as an e-reader due to eye strain, glare, and battery life. 3. I have a great Android phone. Why do I need a tablet? 4. did I mention it's from Apple? (shudder). I don't even want the newest version of the kobo because it's an Android tablet and well... my phone is basically a small android tablet. I've got my eyes on a kobo touch though. e-ink is the way to go. Sounds like I need to try one of those ebooks you all talk about. I have an ipad an its amazing, I dont have to carry all my heavy books from medical school anymore. The baterry life is perfect for me it last like 2 days, but all I do is take notes from classes, the internet and hear musicall day. I dont use my laptop anymore

I've got my eyes on a kobo touch though. e-ink is the way to go. I don't have enough iMoney for an iPad. I'm quite fond of my android phone too. There's a possibility that in the new year I'll be looking to upgrade to one of HTCs phones as well which will mean a larger screen than my current itty bitty Xperia Mini Pro. I do have to admit though that the lack of resolution for the Android market "download paused" glitch does put the iPhone on my list as a possible contender. Anyway, back on point, I too feel that between a smart phone and an actual laptop I don't really need a tablet but I can see how they are useful to some people.
Hmmm... I think mum bought some eggnog yesterday...
