"You're going to meet her, if you hang out with me," Zach said. "And she won't get mad. She doesn't get mad a lot, unless you say bad things about her one true love, and then she, um, shouts a lot. Also, don't talk about alcohol. She doesn't like that."

Wait, she's not one of those girls that still has delusions and expectations about fair tale endings I hope?" Riley asked raising an eyebrow at him. Forever_Hikaru "Hmm...What to get something to eat then?" Skye asked. She wasn't sure what else to do since the only plans she had was going home and do nothing. (You ninja'd me Luci >.< )

"Are you sure?" Riley asked, his eyes widening a bit and his cheeks reddening. "You are literally the only person I've met so far. Shouldn't I work on actually getting friends before I go looking for a crush?"

"Sure," Shane said with a smile. "You can pick a place since I'm bad at picking places to eat. Like, really bad. Also, I don't have any money. Just so you know."
"Well," Zach said slowly, "if you have a crush, you'll be motivated to be friends with them! See, it's like a chicken and egg thing, only with romance. Or something." He shrugged a little.

"I....What? How does that even....? I'm not sure if you used the chicken/egg thing properly but I have no idea..." Riley said trying to figure out Zach's logistics. "And aren't friend-to-crush relationships usually a bad idea? I mean those things are the ones people worry about turning sour and just completely ruining the friendship if it doesn't work out."

Shane smirked as she followed. "Well, I'll try not to. No guarantees." She smiled as she recognized the place they were going to. "Hey, I think this is where my friend's sister works. Maybe he'll be here and we can say hi."
Zach shook his head. "Don't question me, Riley. I'm always right."

Jeanie sat at a lone table stirring her hot chocolate with a coffee stirrer reading a book. She looked up when she saw to boys entering the coffee shop. She wathced them for a minute than went back to reading her book.

"Wouldn't count on it," she murmured as she followed, and then she saw Zach and said, "Come on, over here." She sat down and said, "Hey, Zacherine. What's up?" She smiled warmly at her friend, who just scowled back at her. She knew he hated that nickname, since it reminded him his name used to be Catherine. That's why Shane enjoyed it so much. "You finally get a boyfriend?" she asked, tilting her head towards Riley.
"You finally get a girlfriend?" is Zach's reply. "Shane, this is Riley, my new friend. Hello, Skye," he added with a small smile towards Skye, knowing her a little bit from school. "Thanks for being Shane's friend. It's a very short list." He chose to ignore Shane's upraised finger.

"Uh, hi...I-I just moved here and Zach offered to show me around." Riley said to Shane with a shy smile, raising his hand a bit in a small wave. When his sleeve started to fall a little, he quickly dropped his hand and tugged on his sleeve to keep his crystal hidden.

Skye chuckled a bit at the little banter the two were having. "Hey Zach, nice to meet you Riley." She said as she sat down at their table. From the way he was acting, Skye could tell that Riley was a shy and timid boy.
