 Xavier saw the young Growlithe playing near Dark and smiled, like he knew what he wanted. "I think I know what you're after, little one." He found a stick on the ground and waved it a bit, then tossed it where no one would be hit. He then noticed the other two trainers and smiled. "Must belong to one of them. Growlithes are definitely not native to this region." He then saw the Joltik playing with the Jolteon. "And leave it to Electric-types to be attracted to each other."

Amana races after the stick, catching it before it hits the ground and brings it back to Xavier. She drops it at his feet and stares up at him expectantly.

Xavier gave a hearty chuckle as he watched the Growlithe catch the stick, then bring it back. When she returned, he knelt down and scratched the back of her ear. "Well, ain't you a good girl? Mama had an Arcanine a lot like you, when I was little. Just as playful, but obviously a lot bigger. She was our guard dog, along with a Houndoom." He grabbed the stick again and threw it in the same direction as before.

Dark smiled at he watched Amanda play with Xander. He then decided to stretch his wings. He crouched down and suddenly took off into the sky.
Danny blushed and smiled when Jolteon licked him.He then happily ate the watermelon really fast and soon he was on the ground rubbing his full tummy. "Mmm yummy." he said and hiccuped.

Xavier started laughing heartily while watching the Joltik. "That little one's a total goof! I think he ate that melon just a little too quick. Awful cute little things, though, for Bug-types. I've seen their evolved forms, too, and you're gonna have one heck of a powerhouse at that point." He pulled out his PokeDex and showed Emily the entry on Joltik's evolved form. "Galvantula, the EleSpider Pokemon, it is the evolved form of Joltik. They employ an electrically charged web to trap their prey. While it is immobilized by shock, they leisurely consume it. When attacked, they create an electric barrier by spitting out many electrically charged threads."

"Wow, it looks cool." Emily said with a smile and looked at Danny then went over to pick him up. "But I wont rush him to evolve. I like having a pocket sized buddy." she said and rubbed his belly.

"I can't say I blame you. Heck, you should've seen Lucca before she evolved. She'd hang on my head most of the time, when she was out. Vivian did the same." Xavier walked over to Vivian and hugged her. "And look at her, now. She's big enough that I can hug 'er without worryin' about crushin' 'er 'cause of how small she used to be. Vivian returned the hug with a radiant smile, always loving when Xavier showed some affection towards his Pokemon.

Emily smiled. "Aww that's sweet. Dark wont hug me in public. He's still like a little boy sometimes." she said with a giggle.

Xavier kept one arm around Vivian's shoulders, while she kept her arms around him. "It could be he's afraid of hurtin' ya, too. See, my girls are all pretty attached to me, and Jagger's just a really good friend and protector. I think that, even though she ain't been with me the longest, Vivian is probably the one I'm closest to. It's probably due to our telepathic link." He then chuckled a little as he remembered something. "And Abigail, she's got a bad habit of jumpin' on me when she's excited."

Emily smiled and thought. "Maybe I should get a female. It would be nice to have a girl to talk to instead of a Charizard and Joltik who want to have burping contests." she said.

Scott smiled as Emily picked up the little bug-type. He was cute. He also smiles at the Victini that jumped off of his shoulder to politely eat. "Soooo... What brings you to Unova? Your Growlithe is native to other areas, but not really here." Scott wanted to make conversation, but he sucked at it. At least Jolteon was happy with him again and poked at him to pick her up.
Jolteon was hoisted up to be cuddled by Scott. She had forgiven him and it was thanks to the Joltik really. She pressed her head up against Scott and soon drifted off to sleep. She sparked a little as she slept, shocking Scott, but he was used to it. It was a habit that made her her.

"You're bound to find one sooner or later. In fact, I might have an idea for one to look for, since you seem to like the ones that start off cute." Xavier pulled out his PokeDex again and brought up the entry on a Pokemon he saw early in his Unova travels. "Purrloin, the Devious Pokemon... Its cute act is a ruse. When victims let down their guard, they find their items taken. It attacks with sharp claws. They steal from people for fun, but their victims can't help but forgive them. Their deceptively cute act is perfect." Xavier chuckled a little. "They might sound bad at first, but I met some trainers that used these in battle, and afterward, they were genuinely as sweet as can be. Just depends on the trainer." Vivian nodded in agreement, then sent a telepathic message to both Xavier and Emily. "He's absolutely right. I actually had to face one because Xavier mistook it for a Normal-type, when they are actually Dark-type. Fortunately, I still had a couple of moves that were still effective."

"Aww it does look cute." Emily said then looked sad. "But I'm allergic to cat pokemon. My mom had a persian but had to give him to her sister when they fond out I couldn't be around him." she said.

"Hmm... That's definitely unfortunate. There's another one I know of, then, though we may not see one for a little while yet. It's a neat little Grass-type." Xavier pulled up an entry on a small Pokemon that could easily be mistaken for another plant. "Petilil, the Bulb Pokemon... Since they prefer moist, nutrient-rich soil, the areas where Petilil live are known to be good for growing plants. The leaves on its head are very bitter. Eating one of these leaves is known to refresh a tired body." Xavier smiled. "These little ones are always females, and their evolved form is absolutely gorgeous. Heck, I might have to catch one, myself, and raise it."
