And then everything went a bit crazy. One of the women gripped the other, and then shouted, and leapt away. Eric stared after her, wondering what could have possibly happened. "Is my name a swear word here?"

As the panic began to build up, the group of tribesmen splitting apart and rushing to do several things at once, Corylassa gritted her teeth in focus. Pozlaceny's mind was splintering with the words of plants, and while Coryl couldn't understand them, she knew that they were frightened because it made Poz frightened. And then Agate, going feral in the trees beyond, and the Pale One's just standing there!
She turned her mind to Silas.
'I will help you get them away from here.' She said, sincere in her mind. Her face was turned toward the scientists, and she moved her arms in a shoo-ing motion, feeling ridiculous. How else were they to communicate? Oh, they're impossible! The male was simple staring at her motions in delight. For the love of the Gods- 'Move! There is Danger coming! Move!'

Eric was startled by the voice he heard in his head, and moved backward accordingly. The shock was plain on his face, and on the woman in front of him, holding a staff.
"Did- Did you just speak to me?" He finally questioned, sounding aghast. "You spoke to me!"

Though just as surprised, at least Corylassa had a head on her shoulders.
'Run you Fool!' She nearly shouted mentally. 'There is danger!'

The messages from plants continued to flood Pozlaceny's mind as more and more of them sensed the strange plant. The messages grew louder and louder, as plants closer and closer to her sensed what ever it was. Then It all went quiet for a moment. Suddenly, the voice of the presence could be heard. This time Pozlaceny would hear words. "Don't ever." "Call me." "Crazy." and then the ground shook ever so slightly, something slowly moved among the trees. then the ground shook again. And again a few seconds later. These weren't random tremors in the ground. These were footsteps, slow but heavy footfalls. Then among the tree line further down the beach something moved. It was about a hundred yards away, but it looked almost like a tree stepped out of the jungle. It was followed by another. But then as the rest of it became visible, it was revealed for what it was.
Twenty eight feet tall, circular feet with seven root like toes, each lined with claw like growths. Four long branch like arms, two of which ending in hook shaped thorns, the other two ending in circular hands with rings of seven long, thin, finger like thorns. Short thorny branches grew fron the shoulders and elbows of the larger primary arms, while thorns from the elbons of the second set of arms. a short neck with a seemingly eyeless head. it had a humanoid lipless mouth with thorns in the place of teeth. Three short thick branches sprouted from the back of the head, each of which seemed to be the center vein for a large feather shaped leaf. The surface of the body was covered with what looked like the bark of an oak, but was less raised, and smoother. It looked more like skin than bark. The kneecaps and ankles of the legs also had short thorny branches on them. The bark like skin of the being was a mottled green and grey.
As the being turned to face the group it became crystal clear what and more specifically who this was. the left side of the being's face had three virtacle scars in it's surface. The upper body was adorned with a jaguar pelt vest, and the upper legs were adorned with cloth pants, that were nearly knee length. This was no plant. This was Morquka. He stopped where he stood about 50 yards down the beach away from the everyone and seemed to stare toward the group.

Vitani stumbled back slightly as Poz stood between her and Agate, making roots swim and entwine around the big man, but she soon noticed the girls pain. Tani glaced back at the others, she wasn't a people person even to her own tribe. She kept quiet, never said much if she had to speak, and stayed out o f everyone's way for the most part if she could. Her eyes traveled to the sky as a huge birds flew past overhead, a bird that Tani always called warg because she didn't know what it was exactly, and a moment later she loomed over Poz, giant and white. For a moment, she wondered if she should take Agate and Poz into the air, but she feared Agate would only fight her to be free. Poz, she wasn't so sure if she was willing to leave Agate here with these new comers though he could smash their heads in a mere second, so she left it up to Poz since Tani was never the kind to lead, but nor was she exactly ome to follow. "Should I take him back, or get you away before he gets out?" Her thoughts drifted to Poz's mind, the only way she could communicate as an animal.

Agate feet next became enlarged, breaking the ground beneath him. "Run.... Before... I.. Fully.. Change." He moaned as his shoulders started to widen. Screaming out in pain, his voice became deeper. His lower body started to change. Growing in length, becoming more muscular. He screamed louder. the tree snapped under his hands, splintering everywhere. He drew is hands towards his face before ripping the vine away. He stumbled out of the clearing, gripping his head as his torso began to change. This was probably the most painful for him. This stomach start to move. Expanding as he grew. His screams stopped for a moment. He dropped his arms. His head began to change, taking on a more animalistic in nature. He started to laugh as the final bit of change hit. Wings grew from his back, And horns from his forehead. The purple in his eyes changed to a bright blood red. He was dripping in blood. Standing at least 20 feet tall. He let out a huge roar. He smashed his fist into several trees making them fly. It was too late for any real plan. Only time will revert his form. (His ' Changed' state)

[~Pretty. Typical.~] Pozlaceny started to stammer a reply, instead she turned on her toe and ran back to the sandy beach. "Alright, time to go!" She did not wait for the others to respond, self preservation was higher on her list of things. That was, up until she was stopped directly in front of Morquka. "Excuse me? We don't have time for this, get out of my way!"__________

Tani watched as Agate ripped the vines off and ran into the open, changing and screaming and Poz walked past her. She stepped out into the open and took off a moment later instead of trying to go through the trees. She soared high up into the air, keeping a birdseyes view of the area to make sure everyone went in time.

⌘"єνєяуσиє иєє∂ѕ тσ ѕρєαк, ι ωιℓℓ тαкє му тιмє ∂σιиg ѕσ."⌘ Corylassa and Silas finally pushed the three scientists who had been on the dangerous beach back into their camp, and Coryl was ready to begin hitting the loud mouthed one over the head with her staff. His voice was a constant trilling of obnoxious and indecipherable sounds, but her mind caught the meaning of them without her wanting to. It was the most confusing feeling she'd ever known.
And above that, in her mind, she no longer had claim to know Agate's thoughts, nor did she want to touch the fire that was Morquka's mind. Her entire telepathic web was shaking. She could feel Poz and Vitani, small in the great a of horrible luck they suffered from for no reason on this day. At least Vitani could take to the air and stay safe.
'Stay with them.' She said to Silas, already turning tail back towards the beach. 'They should not be alone, and we have little to spare with so much horror in our midst.'
Corylassa ran on, until she could see the outline of Pozlaceny and Morquka in front of her, and there she slowed to watch out for danger. Had they no sense of time? Agate would be there soon.

Agate started to walk towards Pozlaceny and Morquka, closing the gap between them. He started to gain momentum. When he had enough speed and was close enough and jumped over pozlaceny and tackled Morquka, creating a loud thump sound.

Tani circled ahead, high in the air to watch as everyone started moving. She was large, large enough to carry a few people if need be, and her view of the place was great. She could see everything that was happening; Cory and others pushing the pale ones into their camp, then Cory running back towards Poz and Morquka but then she started slowing down and Tani wondered what they were waiting for when Agate closed the distance in mere seconds and tackled Morquka.Get out of there, she thought to herself, swooping down towards them in a circle; Waiting.

Morquka was taken by surprise by the sudden tackle, but was not phased by it physically. His body suffered no damage at all, a testament to his strategic planning. He had known that there was a chance that Agate would lose control around them. And so he had evolved himself with two purposes in mind. He'd evolved this particular form partially to irritate Pozlaceny, but more importantly, to combat Agate in the event he lost control. "Go." "Get everyone." "To safety!" "I'll try." "To keep...him here." "Until he reverts." He Used all four arms to grapple with Agate; hoping to restrain him long enough for the others to get away. If he died trying, so be it. at least he would have done his duty as son of the Chief and protected his fellow tribe members.

Silas gave a very quick nod, and in moments she was multiplying again and again. She created around twelve, and kept the Pale Ones confined to their camp. She made a soft "Shh, sound, as though comforting children. She was very pleasant, but this was a rare time in which she was stressed, taking this seriously. She and her copies looked to each other, and then spoke in unison. "Stay." She pointed to the ground, and again, "Stay.

Note, at first comforted by his show of palms, was quickly discomforted by his language. And very soon after that, Silas showed and showed.. and showed. With many other Pale Ones. She seemed to bend backwards and away from the man, going close to one of Silas' copies. She put away her weapon, but did not speak. She looked to all of them, then around to the clones of Silas. They were not hostile, more concerned than anything. How.. odd. Note didn't understand and wanted to explore their covers and their actions, but instead she stayed near one Silas.

She watched the giant creatures that were her tribesmen wrestle, and tried to figure out what could have made today the day the Gods wanted to test them in such ways.
"It is the only thing we can do." She said aloud, her voice quiet.
Coryl turned back toward the trees, and the beach with the scientist's camp. 'We can do nothing else here, but perhaps answers await us with the Pale Ones.' She started walking off, trying to collect her thoughts. 'We may not be so lost for communication as we first thought.'

"Demetri, one of them can speak English!" Eric was ecstatic, though he was attempting to look at every copy of Silas. They had been making soothing sounds, and pointing at the ground. "But not out loud, in your head! Telepathy! Actual Telepathic communication! And look at this!" He gestured to the multiple Silas', and as if that hadn't made his point, kept talking. "That was all one person only a few minutes ago!"
The danger was all but forgotten, but you couldn't blame him. This was much more interesting than some unknown danger he hadn't seen himself. "

Silas, at first, began being more pushy. "Stay, stay!" This was serious. Did they not know that? They were smiling, gesturing. Many of the copies looked to Note, as if for some sort of help. "Do you think," only one of the copies began, but another finished off, "you might be able to console some individually? Some must still be scared." The copies stopped making soft, soothing noises, and again began to watch Eric and the others. "Silas," She said, then as she pointed to Eric, "Uric," Followed immediately by pointing to the ground, "Stay."

Note tottered on her feet, then went near the man she had been spying upon. Her hands were gentle, flittering over the Pale One's shoulders. She applied some force, not enough to discomfort, but enough to show she wanted him to sit. Before checking if he would do so, the girl moved to another, some female. She attempted the same with each scientist she went to, but if they did not sit, she did not force the matter.

Agate struggled against the four arms. But to no avil there was no escape. Atleast not on the ground. Agate looked up and smirked. He gave himself amply space for his wings and started batting them. Gaining enough altitude he stopped batting his wings falling fast.
