Never one to mind the more delicate aspects of poloteness, Ishaka looked over as she herd the hushed argument over what rank these newcommers would hold. "BUSISA!" She yelled across at Baie and Thuli, her tone helpful but not one anyone would take as a suggestion. Ishaka with the blue-tipepd tail was not known for being either bashful or quiet. She spoke her mind and was always more than willing to back up her words with her claws. Large as far as most boneland lionessess went, she was one of the more 'colourful' members of the pride,
"Ishaka!" Sizani hissed at her friend though ehr tone was more resigned than aggitated. She had known Ishaka since they were cubs, often lumped together in the creshes watched over by the non-hunting females even though their mothers weren't particularly well known to each other. Sizani was well used to her friend's brash mannerisims, but sometimes she did wish the brown umzingeli would show a lttle more tact.
"What?" Ishaka returned her gaze to the red-pelted female beside her. Of the two of them, Ishaka had the firekin blood, but it was Sizani that actually looked the most like one of the red-pelts. Much to Ishaka's amusement. "Im just letting them know, before anyone gets their tail bent out of shape. After all Laini was born here but his daughters are busisa for being born outside the pride..." She shrugged lazily. She knew Kala, the ex-bondland male's eldest daughter, and while they weren't close, Kala being pretty much a total outcaste amoung her pride-sisters, Ishaka had spent quite a bit of her cubhood with the blue female.
"Besides, most of us have relations out there." She pointed out towards the roguelands. "We can't start calling all newbies Umzingeli just because someone is related somehow to someone else. It would be chaos." She snorted, evidently done with the conversation.
Sizani sighed heavily, lowering her head just in pcase anyone mistook her for this oaf's friend. "Thats all fine, but cluld you please be a little more delicate about it? No need to yell it for the whole savanaha to hear..." She grumbled to herself as Ishaka gave her a confused look. "Oh for.... forget it. You are right and we should all bow down to your superior knowladge." She shot her friend a deadpan look, which only caused Ishaka to laugh merrily.
"We will make a true lioness out of you yet!" She crowed, right before Sizani's striped tail smacked her square in the face. With a playful growl she pounced on the red female, sending the pair of them tumbling across the ground and into a nearby group of their fellow pride-sisters. Paws batted at faces and necks, claws of course retracted, while mouths caught and tugged on tan and red fur without doing any damage.
Finally Sizani managed to pin her unruly companion to the ground and lay over her, panting and trying to hide her smirk. "You are impossible!" She huffed, slapping at Ishaka's ear in pretend retribution. Glancing round at the annoyed expressions of the other lionessess, Sizani shoved off Ishaka and settled beside her with a warning glare. "Behave, or we will be chased off again." She got an amused smirk in return and rolled her eyes. "Ingrate."
