Sokea chuckled at the professor's question. Shaking his head, Sokea smiled and put his hands on his hips. Draken's remark on new students was a proper one, but it seemed it was just them that were here today, a sad lacking of mind magic users. Or a glad lacking, depending who you ask. Sokea turned towards Ezra and responded, "Feel well? I don't know her. She sounds nice. As for your eyes though..." The blind boy extended his arm to and grabbed the professor's arm. Sokea felt his way down Ezra's arm to his exposed hand, and grabbed it. In order for Sokea to establish a link, the contact has to be skin-to-skin, rather inconvenient more than anything. Well, being blind can be an inconvenience too, but not really. Sokea held his hand there for two and a half seconds, then released, establishing the link between him and the professor. Sokea let go of the professor's hand, then shut his eyes to activate the link. After about four seconds, Sokea opened them back up, revealing the eyes of Ezra now in his possession. Sokea concentrated closely, Ezra's eyes did indeed feel very different, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. It was like there was something protecting them. Looking up at Ezra, Sokea decided to ask him something.
"I've never learned your raiment, Professor. I'm aware your eyes have something to do with it. I can't figure out what though. It's kind of frustrating; typically I can figure these out quite easily but your eyes are annoying." Sokea looked around, through Ezra's eyes, and back through his own again. Sokea couldn't figure it out, could he see things differently? No, then he'd seem them the same he would. Sokea's raiment is one of sharing; or copying and controlling more rather. Ezra's eyes felt different. Filled with stubborn and frustration, he turned back to his professor and looked up at him with a determined look on his face. "Wait! Don't tell me, I want to figure out what it is on my own!" Looking around once again, Sokea desperately was searching for what the professor's eyes had to do with is raiment. They feel like they are being protected, shielded more rather. Is he immune from something? Looking back up at Ezra, he squints, trying to read him. His eyes feel so strange, like there's something missing as well. Sokea has a guess on what type of raiment he has.
"It's not just your eyes, it's your whole brain that involves your raiment, that's why your eyes feel weird. It's like there's something detached from me when I share your eyes, it'd be easier if I could share your brain too. Wouldn't that be something?" Sokea folded his arms and grinned; this analytical conclusion was satisfying enough, if he was correct. Sokea decided to take a step back in wait of his professor's response.
