Mara_Brightwing KASUKICHAN i wish i had ramen ....... stare ........... I WANT RAMEN crying !!!!!! Ramen Chicken Noodles 2 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 cans chicken broth 6 packages chicken flavored ramen noodles 1/2 tsp tarragon 1 can condensed cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup In a large pot (a dutch oven is perfect) place the chicken broth, tarragon, four of the seasoning packets from the ramen, and the chicken. Cook until chicken has cooked through; remove chicken from broth and set aside. Add three more cans of water and bring to a boil. While waiting for broth mixture to boil, cut chicken into small pieces and add to broth. When it has come to a boil, add all the noodles (breaking them into manageable pieces is a good idea) and the soup. Allow to cook for about ten minutes; turn off the heat, cover, and allow to sit for another ten minutes to allow the liquid to be absorbed. Makes 6 to 8 servings, depending on how much you put into a serving! THANKS FOR THE RECIPE! 4laugh

Wicked Seafood Chowder
1 whole onion 3 cans baby clams 1 pkg crab meat 1 can of shrimp smoked salmon *optional* 1/2 lb of cooked & crumbled bacon 1 can diced tomatoes 2-3 stalks of sliced celery 4-5 potatoes, diced 1/2 teaspoon of italian seasoning salt to taste 4-5 drops of liquid hickory smoke *optional*
Peel, dice and wash potatoes and place in large dutch oven (2-handled pot that can go in oven if necessary, but not for this recipe). Open cans of clams and pour juice over potatoes. Add bacon, celery, Italian seasoning, liquid smoke (if using)and whole onion (or chopped if you prefer, but some people, like my hubby, don't like onions). Add water until it just covers the potatoes. Add salt to taste and bring to a boil.
Boil potatoes until they are almost done and turn pot off. Overcooking them will make them mushy. Add everything else to the pot. Mix it, taste it for needed salt. Let sit on lowest heat setting for about 30 mins so that flavours meld. Serve with crusty buns and side salad.
I don't know how many servings this makes. I just took a Manhattan Clam Chowder and altered it. It makes about 6-8 litres, I think. It's a lot. 3nodding It's easy to make and tastes awesome. heart

Home made pasta
Time needed: 1 hour
Makes: 5 main dish servings (about 1 pound of pasta)
Need: 2 and 1/3 cups of all purpose flour 1 teaspoon dried basil, marjoram or sage Crushed (optional) 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 beaten eggs (not like beat up eggs rofl you know what i mean) 1/3 cup of water 1 teaspoon cooking oil or olive oil
In a large bowl stir together 2 cups of the flour, the basil (if desired), and salt. Make a well in center of flour mixture. In a small bowl combine eggs, water and Oil. Add egg mixture to flour mixture. Stir to combine them.
Sprinkle a clean surface where you can knead it with the remaining 1/3 of flour. Turn dough out onto floured surface. Knead until dough is smooth and stretchy (8 to 10 min.) Cover with towel for ten min. (DO NOT press the towel on the dough super hard cause then it won't taste good rofl
Divide dough into 4 equal pieces. On lightly floured kneading surface, roll each dough into a 12 in. square about 1/16 thick. Let sit for 20 min. Cut as desired such as small or fat pieces.
In a large sauce pan or kettle bring water (3 quarts of water for 4 to 8 inches of pasta) to boiling. If desired add 1 teaspoon salt and one table spoon of olive oil or cooking oil to the water to prevent pasta from sticking together. Add pasta a little at a time so the water does not stop boiling. Reduce heat slightly and boil stirring ocasionally and wait untill you think the pasta looks firm or chewy. Add a sauce if desired or eat it by it's self.
TA DA YOU DID IT!!

for chinese lovers again:
Sesame Beef Chih Ma Niu Jou
8 oz cold seasoned beef, thin slices (good idea for leftover use) 1 tbsp white sesame seeds 1 1/2 tsp oil 1/2 tsp sesame oil oil for deep frying
Seasoning 2 tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp MSG (for those who are MSG sensitive, just don't use) 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce 1/2 tsp light soy sauce 1/2 tsp Shao Hsing wine 2 tbsp beef or chicken stock
Cooking: Heat the wok, add 1 1/2 tsp oil and lightly stir-fry the sesame seeds for 1 minute. Remove and set aside. Reheat the wok, add the deep-frying oil and when very hot, place the beef in a wire mesh strainer and plunge into the hot oil for 1/2 minute. Remove, reheat the oil and repeat this process until meat is very crisp, about 5 times. Drain and set aside. Discard most of the oil. Reheat the wok and stir-fry the beef, adding the seasoning ingredients. Continue to stir-fry over moderate heat until all the liquid evaporates and meat is quite dry and crisp and glazed with the seasonings. Add the sesame seed, sprinkle on sesame oil and stir. Transfer to a serving plate and serve.

Eeyorekate something microwavable.. rolleyes All of my recipes are reheatable...or do you want microwave recipes from scratch? Let's see..... Microwaved Broccoli 2 large stalks fresh broccoli 2 TBS butter or margarine Aromat Seasoning or Old Bay Seasoning (or substitute your favorite seasoning blend) Rinse the broccoli under cool running water. Cut all the small florets off the main large stem and place into a microwave safe bowl; peel the harder outer covering from the stem, and cut the heart into small pieces to add to the bowl. Dot the butter or margarine over the top of the broccoli; sprinkle about a teaspoon or so of the seasoning over the top. Microwave on high for three to four minutes; let stand for another two minutes. Remove from microwave and stir broccoli well into the sauce that's collected at the bottom. Good especially with grilled chicken and potatoes, or any meal where you might eat broccoli.

Ham, Egg and Cheese Sandwhich
Spray the bottom of a mug with cooking spray and drop a small piece of ham in there. Get very small pieces of cheese and drop em' on the ham. Then crack an egg into the mug and poke the yolk with a fork a dozen time (so it won't explode) and tightly cover the top of the mug is some sort of wrap. Stick it in the microwave for 90 second and FRIGGIN PRESTO!
While doing this, also, toast ome bread or an english muffin to put the yummy, melted trio inbetween.
