I'm scared of crickets when they're drowning.The way the twitch their backs just creep me out so much.Cockroaches scare me too.I wouldn't exactly call cockroaches harmless because god knows what kind of filth they crawl around in and what diseases they carry but still they're scary even though they run from you when they see you sweatdrop

the one little thing that mortifies me is that lets say at night with no lights you pass a mirror. ok yeah that's a lil freaky because all you see is a dark figure but what i'm really afraid of is knowing that it's a mirror but the reflected image moves on its own. *hides* i'm so scared of that!

i'm afraid to see my family members die in front of me too.

-Spiders creep me out. I'll only kill them if they're on the floor, or on a part of the wall that is at least eye-level with me. If they're on the ceiling, forget it. xd

-The alleys near where I live are creepy, particularly at night and ESPECIALLY on a foggy night. eek It's like I'm starring as Harry Mason in Silent Hill whenever I'm forced to walk down those accursed alleys. xp The 'Silent Hill' feel is made ten times worse by the fact that the streets near my residence are virtually deserted at night.

-Also, the notion of suddenly finding myself in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, without a boat (just me in the water), in Winter when it's freezing, and at night time when the water turns black (and the sharks go hunting), is so terrifying that if it actually happened, I'd probably die of a heart attack. burning_eyes

and my Computer chair when its dark out... It just has this evil feel to it in the dark!

I know how that feels. The computer chair looks plain creepy in the dark.

But you wanna know what looks ESPECIALLY creepy in the dark?

A vaccum cleaner. The handle just has a creepy-a** form in the dark. ninja

ick, i hate bugs too, i mean some are ok, like butterflys and crap, and i don't mind spiders either, but others.... also i don't like walking through the woods alone without a gun. you never know (ya i'm a bit paranoid)

Im not really scared of clowns, I can tolerate them its just that they're
creepy...

Roches bigger then a peanut filled m&m, if I see a roach I will go balistic and
scream and toss random Items at it

Dolls, Dolls are freaken creepy, they just stare at you and stuff, one time I
got one and bashed it against the wall because it was scarying me sad

At night when no one is home but me, I always lock my room door, and I cant stand those noises in the middle of the night when everything is quiet. As of
last week I have a night light in my room... sweatdrop

Okay lets see, here's my list of phobias.
Some of you might have them too.

-Agraphobia (fear of sexual abuse)
-Hemophobia (fear of blood)
-Athazagoraphobia(fear of being forgotten)
-Autophobia (fear of being alone)

I am also a very paranoid person,
so when I am alone, and I hear strange noises,
I tend to freak out a lot.
And I also have the Peter Pan complex,
which is I am scared to grow up.

After reading through so many big phobias and official sounding names, my question is this: How many of you are actually diagnosed with such fears by a medical professional?

It is human nature to be frightened and paranoid about such things, and reading about psychological fears and disorders often convinces people that they are afflicted with such, whether they are or not.

So who has seen their local shrink (or two, for a second opinion) and can legitimately say they have such-and-such-phobia, and who's quoting from wikipedia?

I have been to three psychiatrists.
Two of them each diagnosed me with two of the previous phobias each,
and the third then did the second opinion.
At first they had said I had schizophrenia,
but that was later said to be untrue.
I also have Borderling Personality Disorder,
which was the main reason for the Autophobia
to occur.

Getting pricked in the finger with a needel, I dont mind getting needels any wear else. I freak out if they try to p***k my finger.

I am also really scarde of mosquitos, i guess its the fear that the "one" that stings you "may" have west nile viris.

Another fear is of lighters, well not when i hold them. When some one holds one close to me or makes the sound. I freak really baddly. I met a friend that way I hid behind soem random guys trench coat cause my friend scarde me so bad with a lighter ^^

Jumping of hights to, even if its only like 3 or 4 feet high. I dotn know what it is. I love hights tho, i love loking down on things below me <3
