Songs to play at my funeral eh? Well, I want to make people laugh at mine and cry a bit, but mostly laugh
10,000 Mile- Mary Chaplin Carpenter (though I want the guy who sings it more)
The Day That I Die - Good Charlotte
The Rose - Bete Midler
Why, Cause I am addicted to 10,000 Miles recently for when my mood is low. The day that I die will get a lot of my friends to crack up cause I run around the streets singing it with some of them, and The rose is such a romantic song and I am such a hopeless romantic. ^_^

I'm not sure of all the songs I'd like to be played at my funeral yet, but I know two that I'd like for sure:
Into The West by Annie Lennox (from Lord of the Rings) and From A Shell by Lisa Germano
I think they're both absolutely beautiful songs, and both quite appropriate lyrically.

Kernkraft 400 by Zombie Nation and some more Electronic music. I want a raver-funeral, then I want to be cremated and dumped into a bowl of liquid-acid and spread out to the Kandi Kids.

Xanak Ghost-Runner This is obviously a play-off of the "Songs to play at your wedding." sweatdrop So, if you could request songs for your own funeral, what would they be? For me: -"Through The Never" - Metallica -"Satelites and Astronauts" - In Flames -"Enter Sandman" - Metallica -"Dead End" - In Flames The songs have energy. I want my funeral to be a party and celebration, not some sad event that nobody wants to go to. 3nodding So, here's a discussion to make it easy: 1. What songs would you request? 2. Why? 3. Anything else you think is related to this. 1. Pretty much any song by Nightwish. Maybe Sleeping Sun... That would be a good one... Or Gethseman, which is a little more upbeat. 2. Because I've spent most of my time listening to them, and that's what I would be what I want to hear. *selfish* Besides, I hate it when people cry. Enter Sandman is a pretty good choice, too.... But if I was going to say a band other than Nightwish, it would be Nirvana's Come As You Are.
