I'm getting a lot better at my drawings. Although my anatomy still needs a lot of work and also my folds of cloathing.
I am currently to lazy to go into photobucket and get an image..

thanks! Those are some of my older ones.

I use prisma colorpencils and watercolor and pen mostly. What is gouache? I'm interested to know.

To Xik: You art is inspirational.

Gouache is a rubber/gum based paint. it is very thick and is actually a bit expensive, but very very bright in colour.
It's tricky to use properly but used to be used all the time in graphic design for mockups if i understand correctly. whee

Ink and brush. I can't live without them. domokun
I have tried pretty many mediums, and I tend to have different favourites time to time. But at least I can say that markers wont be ever my favourite medium, because they just sucks. :l

Sounds awesome! Does it not absorb the water colors so it stands out more, like wax?

My art? Inspirational? Don't you mean Mut Cat's? God, her 2-D already made me almost cry, then she showed the 3-D a water fall came out.

And Illegal, the whole splatter water color drawings, a really cool. Makes me wanna draw and paint. I really need to utilize the gifts that were given to me.

I like both of your art, but I really like the one with the eye.

Thanks, although splattering paint doesn't really take any talent... sweatdrop

But yeah, I definatly think you should.

Hay coloured hair
tracing down her back
Carefully braided together
by her daughter's hands

A line project for my art studio class. The assignment was to make a 100 foot line in nature. For the record this is the very first time I've ever french braided anything.

This is a photomanipulation I did at 5 a.m. because I couldn't get this song out of my head:

Sailing Seas
Abandoned Pools

Damn this destiny
And damn this twist of fate
And damn its 5 A.M.
and I'm still awake
You're haunting me
I know its hypocrisy
but this is not easy
And this is not what we were supposed to be

So haunt me
You should know that I'll be
Sailing seas of regret
I cant listen to that CD anymore

To hell with irony
To hell with subtlety
Cause I don't have time
To mince words anymore
I was there
I'm crouched down in the hall
My ear up to the wall
I can hear you
forgetting about me

So haunt me
You should know that I'll be
Sailing seas of regret
I cant listen to that CD anymore

Haunt me
Wasn't very easy
When he took you from me
And I cant listen to that CD anymore
Since you walked out my door

Was it certain death
When he took off your dress
When he finished your cigarettes

So haunt me
You should know that I'll be
Sailing seas of regret
I cant listen to that CD anymore

This is a series from my art studio course. Our original assignment was to make a still life out of whatever monochrome white objects we could find. Then we had to destroy it and document the destruction of our still lives. Believe me, after drawing this twisted thing repeatedly for exercises I was ready to just beat it to death.

Sorry for the quality, its very difficult to photograph these.

Medium: Vine and compressed charcoal

I was browing for stock photos for another piece and the image of the bloody eggshell just caught me by surprise and I decided I had to use it. The dead bird photo was something I took myself.

Heh, well not to be rude, but still that is just throwing a lot of paint on a canvas. Yeah, every single one looks different, but anybody can do it in my opinion.

But I guess my drawings arn't just paint splatters either. I use them for accenting my drawings mostly.

Man, all this nice 2-D work. I wish I was better at 2-D, but I like 3-D better. Problem is, finding space to work and the materials is a hassle. I need to start drawing seriously, I never have....

Check out my 3D braid thingie XD

Snail: Just because anyone could do it doesn't mean it's bad. Even though anyone can do it, he was the first to actually go through with it and do it.

Haha thanks. I really like the eye one too, it started with me goofing off. My friend was joking about using paper towel to make a print. So, since there was still ink on my plate I used it twice with paper towel. Then I ended up taking one of the good copies and ripping up the paper towel one and glueing it on top of the other. I really wish I had the stuff to make my art look more professional, but oh well. It's not going on display anywheres.

@Label(hehe): I really like that braid thing, did you really make it 100 ft? And the bird thing? almost creepy, but kinda cool. I really like that eye manipulation.

I guess thats true. It is cool. I just like seeing art that, in my opinion, takes more talent...and to me talent is something not everyone can have, otherwise its not talent.

Meh, whatever. I don't even know if that makes sense.
