my hs ring was silver with a garnet...and OF COURSE i had to be a dumbass and talk about the garnet @ school...

later on i found out people thought i was spoiled cause i had a REAL stone in my class ring, but i was like "dude, its a GARNET. its not the ******** hope diamond..."

now that i think about it, i wish i'd gone with my birthstone, but our school colors were maroon and white. *shrug* its not like you wear it for more than a few months anyway...

I have lots of real gemstone jewelry. Just not very expensive stuff. Its all little stones, not very valuable cuts, etc. But then again, I go to school in a more upper class part of town.

One side has music symbols, and the other has a star and crescent moon.

Overall, it's $280.

At least it's not one of the crazy ones some people had got. (18k gold AND diamonds....)

I has Photoshop CS2 ._. I stoled it from a local community college.

I'm happy with my teal stone. We were required to pick one of our school colors. It was either teal, aquamarine, and a dark blue. My junior high ring already had the dark blue stone so I figured I didn't need two of the same stone.

Edit: D: Ours cost $600+ although some people chose the economy packages which were $200+

The least I saw (on Jostens) for ring price was about $80-90 dollars. That's with the State Tax and Shipping and handling.

Then again, I could have gone with a gangster ring. xd
