She wondered how many of them might recognize her from the magazines, the newspaper, or her voice from the Wizarding Wireless Network. After all, it hadn’t been long since she finished her tour and returned in her time for the summer to be with her daughter…

”So I must ask you, what is there to do for fun around here? I recently moved to London,” she explained as she teased the cascading necklace over her chest. ”I used to live in Spain, mi querido.” Her sashaying hips paused in their step as she glanced at a family passing by, one man in particular caught her eye for the moment, but not long.

Lyre walked into Diagon Alley, feeling very alone. Her long reddish hair had grown even longer, now falling at her mid-back. Her bright violet eyes were just as excited seeming as always, a smile on her face. She held the list of supplies to buy in one hand, and the letter from Erik in the other. She couldn't believe he wanted to meet her! It was so exciting to have a friend! She decided to stop at a bench and sit, waiting for the boy to show up. He was so nice, agreeing to help her shop, since she really didn't know what she was supposed to do.

Erik entered the Alley, his eyes bright with the day's adventures. He wore a short sleeve shirt that inadvertently showed off the bulging scar on his wrist. He didn't care, however. It had stopped itching and he almost forgot it was there, or even why it was there. He spotted the red head waiting for him and smiled, striding over to her. "Hey Lyre, I see you got my message. Ready to explore Diagon Alley?"

Lyre looked up to see Erik walking over. "Am I? I've been waiting days! I'm super excited!"" She offered her friend a bright smile as she hugged him. She missed him! She missed Hogwarts too, but she was also happy to be home with her mummy and daddy. She let go of Erik and smiled again. "Where to first?" Lyre assumed the boy would know where to go, since she had no clue. She pulled a lock of hair away from her face, then looked up at the boy with the bright blue eyes.

He smiled when she said she'd been excited since she got his letter and nodded. "Hm... we could go to Flourish and Blott's, the bookstore. Or maybe we could go to Slug and Jiggers, the potions store. Which one do you want to do?" He smiled at the girl and awaited her answer.

Edd patted Lyre on the shoulder. "Don't be embarrassed. It's hard for wizards and witches from the Muggle world. You'll get it soon. Thankfully, I'm here. Let's check out Slug and Jiggers first. We'll get your potion ingredients and stuff." He smiled a comforting smile and offered his arm to her.

Lyre sent a smile toward Erik, still blushing a bit. "Thanks. Erik. I'm glad you're here for me." She wasn't the least bit embarrassed, despite that the words came out a bit romantic. She took his arm, grinning. She looked excitedly at all the stores as they walked, curious about everything. She kept asking random questions about one thing or another, hoping to learn a bit more about her new world.

Chloe was relieved to be out of the house and in a small way away from her brother. She didn't want to make him feel like he wasn't wanted but she just wanted to be on her own to think. She wasn't able to use magic so life was pretty boring. The only thing she could think was to go to the book store and get a book to read, not that she wouldn't be done with it rather quickly.

'What I'm I to do...?' Chloe asked herself as she walked the streets of Diagon Alley. She usually only came there to get her school supplies but she was there for more of an escape. 'I guess I could get my supplies for school though.' she thought as she continued walking down the street. Maybe she'd be lucky and run into someone along the way.

Now isn't that interesting.' 'Don't mess with Rei's people Rui.' 'Oh don't worry Ryn, Rei's so done with him. He tried to get close apparently.' She visibly shrugged and strutted over to Romy, Alaric, and Tobi. She looked down at Romy, putting a good guilty looking face on and crouching down so she was at eye level with the sitting boy. "Romy?" She asked innocently, batting her eyelashes just slightly. "I'm so sorry... that was terrible of me. I have no idea what came over me. Can you ever forgive me?" She stared at him with golden eyes, making herself look as guilty sorry and hurt as she possibly could. Maybe just maybe the silly boy would forgive her and she could have him back as a plaything for a little bit. He was just to fun to twirl around at her will.

Romy sighed at Alaric's rather unhelpful advice. How the heck would he even know! Alaric hadn't ever been duped like that! He heard his name being spoken by a very familiar, and quite unwelcome voice. His bright blue eyes looked up into her gold ones, and he felt himself mesmerized by them all over again. "R-Rui..."' he whispered, looking at her. He didn't want to forgive her, everything inside him told him not to, to ignore her and make her feel ashamed, but it just wasn't in him. "Of course, Miss Rui, I forgive you. I wouldn't be myself if I were to upset a lady." He hoped she realized that after all she had put him through, he was willing to play nice. He pulled his glasses off to wipe away his tears, then looked back at the girl. His gaze was supposed to read "go away," but it seemed to say "stay.. make me feel loved again..."

The tween shook his head disgustedly finding the words vomiting out of his mouth before he could stop himself. "That's a load of dung an' ya know it!
