Amaya picked up the other bags and followed after Adrian as Calista ran ahead of them a little. "So I've got to start the turkey when I get home and then work on making the side dishes. I made the pie already at least. " She said, thinking over her whole day now.

"Oo, what kinda pie? Please tell me it's chocolate." Adrian said perking up at the mention of pie.

"It's apple pie. I've got vanilla ice cream to go along with it. Sorry it's not chocolate, I'm not that skilled yet." Amaya said as she looked back at him.

"Well apple's a good substitute. It's a fine second place on my list." Adrian said. "As long as it's not on fire." he teased.

"Haha, I'm better with pies than birds." Amaya said, rolling her eyes though she grinned.

"I should hope so. Lemme know if you need any help with the cooking though." Adrian offered with a smile.

"I'll be sure to let you know." Amaya said as they got on the train once more. "I think everything should be fine though, besides getting her in bed on time." She muttered, nodding her head over to Calista.

"She's going to have ice cream and pie. Not burning the turkey is going to be the least of your worries tonight." Adrian said with a chuckle.

"Well I know her grandparents let her stay up way too late, so I'm hoping that she'll crash. And hopefully not throw a temper tantrum involving any part of her imagination." Amaya said in a low voice, sighing lightly to herself.

"Well now you've got someone to sing her to sleep if it comes to that. It worked when she was three, it should work even better now that I've got my guitar." Adrian said. "No longer will you have to suffer through a sugar-high seven year old alone, for your favorite babysitter has returned." he half joked.

"I hope so, because her new friends are a lot more complicated than Peter." Amaya said, laying her head on Adrian's shoulder.

"New friends? This I gotta hear. Not ripoffs of cartoon characters she's seen I hope." Adrian said with a curious smile as he looked down at Amaya.

"Well the main problem and her favorite right now is Hazama. He gives me the creeps. Ken is harmless, but he doesn't say anything. None of them say anything still, so I really don't like it when they look at me." She said with a slight shudder.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you from your daughter's imaginary friends." Adrian teased as he gave her a kiss on the head. "Seriously though, even if they were something to worry about, you know she'd never hurt you."

"It's the mental thing that concerns me." Amaya said quietly, her gaze drifting over to Calista, who was busy playing a game.
